Agreed. Its a lot easy if you read this forum, try out scripts, and read commands. Thats how I learned.

it's not really a 'teach you' kind of thing you basicly have to teach yourself and get used to the commands.

I guess i had an advantage compared to all the players that are new at scripting...I had the levels pack when graal still released it back in the day...and I looked at all the NPCs, saw what they did, looked at the scripting, and put 2 and 2 together in a VERY slow process. The only "guides" ive ever used to script, were that of commands.rtf...and occasionally newfeatures.txt (After i figured out what that was for, lol.) Just try commands out, see what does what. Then, after you learn what each command and variable does separately, try using commands together, making each NPC you script progressively more involved. Dont expect to just make bomy script as soon as you script a simple door ;).

if you want help on more than just basic scripting, memorize commands.rtf and newfeatures2001.txt, you can probably figure it out from there, that is what I did, and I...um...I....:grrr: :grrr: I...:asleep:
