Merlin 08-31-2001 06:47 AM

funny, to sign up for an account you need to be 13 or 14+ so how is it a game for 10 year olds to begin with?

not legaly, so if they are'nt playing legaly it's there parents own fault if they see materials they should'nt due to age.

General 08-31-2001 06:53 AM

still the moms of some 13+ year olds haven't learned to appreciate the word

NotoriousBLT 08-31-2001 07:01 AM

I think everyone said their first swear word when they were...what 5? 6? It's not a big deal

I didn't start swearing until 8th grade.

annr 08-31-2001 08:22 AM

No. I didn't. I rarely even spoke until 8th grade.

****

oh no I SWORE

TEH PARENTS WILL GET ME NOW !^%!$^

my point is, because someone said "****ing" doesn't mean you have to go post a thread about it

They probably only did that because they had to, and maybe they have no intention whatsoever to enforce it

and people not from the U.S are exempt from it completely, because the servers are in France and the U.S doesn't control "internet laws"

Precisely. What I want to know is how that got into the "Screenshot of a week ago"...

all they need is parental consent before giving out information and they can still play. : \

Or they just lie.

AlkarenHyralt 08-31-2001 11:31 AM

I didn't start to swear, until last year...

TOT_GP1 08-31-2001 11:35 AM

Either General edited it to get praise(hopefully not), or Stefan edited it to put it up:megaeek: :megaeek:

RaVeN_629 08-31-2001 01:46 PM

:megaeek:

RaVeN_629 08-31-2001 02:04 PM

me too:D

Admins 08-31-2001 06:05 PM

There is no age limit, the
COPPA thing is not needed for Graal,
don't know why it has been put up

Also those words (****, *****) are not
something that only 10 years old people
use, I think the people in that screenshot
were surprised because of the big
explosion or so.
It's still not good that they are used

Lyndzey 08-31-2001 07:05 PM

Why don't you make just a swearing filter thing? From what I know, swearing is legal though, but illegal on Classic.

Merlin_2001 08-31-2001 07:08 PM

thats becsue on classic there would be 100 idots going around saying things
HEY WHIORE FUC YU ASS FUCER ***** MOFA FUCS ME YEA

or simalar

BlKnight 08-31-2001 07:28 PM

On classic, if it wasn't illegal there would be a curse word every 2nd word in every mass message. With it ilegal there is only curse word every 3rd word in every mass message.

Lyndzey 08-31-2001 07:33 PM

I think Classic is dying. Thym is making great stuff and all, but I haven't seen any GPs aside from LinkX in a long time...

Admins 08-31-2001 07:40 PM

Hmmm I thought classic will have no problems
with GP stuff anymore since Peach can have
as many GPs as he wants and can give him
banning power etc. without asking me
but well
may be Tyhm should be 'owner' of the
classic server?

YES GOOD IDEA

Peach is doing good I just think a lot of the GPs are inactive or something

That would be a good idea since you are busy with 2001 and New World. He is the one that basically keeps it running and such.
Make Peach Co-Owner or something

Vash 08-31-2001 08:15 PM

Arrrrrggg....
I started this game ago a little before the age of ten.

YES. For a long time now, Tyhm has been the single thread holding Classic together. It's about damn time he deserved some props.

YES.

He's done ALL of this work to keep it truckin, and he should get the rewards that he deserves.

SagaTCN 09-01-2001 01:28 AM

bleh blah.

I have yet to start swearing and I don't plan on doing so. ;)

Lyndzey 09-01-2001 01:33 AM

Thym made Classic worth playing. He should be the owner...who is the owner of Classic?

annr 09-01-2001 01:46 AM

tyhm definitely should be owner, even though he is a busy man he has still taken time out to answer all of my questions and concerns, and was quite friendly. like he didn't just write as little as possible etc.

as for the gps on classic. well. pifft
