why the hell play cs when you have a teamplay mod like day of defeat?
cs is just so shitty mainstream but hell if i know why, it's boring and just team deathmatch with unbalanced weapons and slow moving players with snipers having the advantage over everything
for the best teamplay ever play DoD on the omaha beach map
JUST like the saving private ryan opening (no, not the scene with the old guy at the graveyard)

I played DoD, TFC, AHL, Firearms, all those mods. CS is the most challenging one too me. People who don't like it usually just can't handle the heat so they stay out of da kitchen. hehe.

Counter-Strike is not challenging at all. Day of Defeat is the most challenging and fun online game I have ever played. CS is about number 5 on my list of online games. It was fun at first, but it got boring and repetetive and just...stupid. It takes no talent to be good at CS, but it takes talent to be good at other Mods like Day of Defeat.

CS is waay too easy anyway. DoD is a REAL challenge. The Opera is the easiest mod I've played though, I've only lost like a couple times out of the hundred+ games i've played

q3a is the funnest.

Personally, CS is an awesome game with great teammates if you have great enemies and an organized team. Unfortunately this is very hard to have unless you're in a good clan... Personally, I think Opera will own every game once threy make it unlaggy and put in teams. If you're like me, you haven't even been shot once in that game, taking away the times lag hits you.

in my experience opera has less lag than any other mod...

Unreal Tournament is so fun, I'm addicted to that one. =)

you've been playing with the wrong group of players. same goes with true heat. lol.

yeah me too.. i played and killed the whole other team with a DE once
the only server i've played in with a real challenge is red phive, the players there are AMAZING

Never played there, but the DE and the AWM/P are hideously over powered. The fact that you can use a .50AE Desert Eagle while running is absolutely ridiculous...

That server is just TOO laggy.
I can't play like that. =/

Well, as usual.....Im gonna have to disagree with you too. You have your own persepctive and I have my own perspective. Only thing is, more people agree on how I feel (most people play CS).:megaeek: :megaeek:

and TrueHeaT is right, CS requires no skill, I hadn't played for months before that game 2 days ago, and i killed you all easily (the auto shotgun is not a "n00b" gun)

I love DoD, but I wish that more people that i know play it

Damn I wish I could play you....im gonna install it sometime soon...I always play on my DC infact i played for like 2 hours today once your good its so fun I always play In-Human diff. and in some levels it gets very challenging cause they always seem to have Invulnerability and Rocket Launcher

I'd play UT anyday over any half life game and DoD

Snipers have an advantage in DoD too...

yeah but DoD has grenades that actually work and better teamplay tactics

The auto shotgun is not a "n00b" gun. You are just pissed that you get killed with it all the time. And I guess you could call every gun a "n00b" gun a "n00b" has used it when they were new. CS Oldbie? Yeah that makes no sense. "If you've played cs for a long time you would know that the autoshotty is a n00b gun, LOL!!!!@#$$"

What I really hate about cs is all the patches are just bug fixes, no new maps, weapons items ect... I heard they were just going to make a CS2 with new weapons :/
