The correct Pronunciation of Graal, according to my grandpa, who is from Mid-eastern Europe, is "Grawl". :)

Secksai-Spaz 08-29-2001 05:57 AM

I say it "grail" because it makes the most sense. Four Graals.

But who knows, Graal may be German for Grail, and pronounced Grawl.

Also, cow melking haha

SaiyanSaviour 08-29-2001 07:08 AM

I think it's pronounced as Grail. And when some of you think it's pronouced Grawl, it would of been spelled Grall. TADA! You heard' it right straight from the horses mouth!

trickster2006 08-29-2001 07:21 AM

i called it growl lol i was listening to my friend do it and like he said it like growl so i did it too i gave it some thought and then:eek: its like grail DUH!
lol

Read my earlier post. My grandfather, who speaks some German and is from mid-eastern Europe, says it is pronounced "Grawl"...Find me solid evidence that it is pronounced "Grail" and I will believe you. :)

Graal = Grail in french
I have no idea why the game called Graal if its not related to the game at all.

habek 08-29-2001 07:21 PM

Gra'al <------- that's how i say it

Kaimetsu 08-29-2001 09:33 PM

Stefan has clarified this before, as you'll see if you do a search on these boards. To say it is pronounced "Grawl" is meaningless because Americans pronounce those letters differently to everyone else. It is so: Grarl. And to split it up further: Gr Ah L.

unixmad had the idea for the name 'Graal'
Antago has named the Bow 'Bogen' (to have it
sound cool or so :-)
