New Money Making Idea for Graal 2001!
 

I have been thinking about some cool things Stewfan could make for G2k1, so I thought
about something like a job, to say a Thief, ok there is a house and that is your gang leader,
he tells you to go to Stores and steal there Gems and Diamonds, every Gem and Diamond you steal
is worth 1 Gralat, but there are alarms and time systems say, you break into the store
with your sword, you have 30 Real Seconds to get in there and use a special item that cuts
glass and steal the gems and get out before the alarm goes off and the Police arrive. There would
be stores located around the Graal World say 3-5 and these robbers can break in. This would
make the game pretty neat I do beleave! I also have the beta version done. I will be asking
Stefan if he would like to see it.

The idea sounds okay in principle, but I think after a while those people would start investing in some security for their jewels... Maybe as a one-off quest.

I have been thinking about that kind of what if players could buy stores to sell there goods and they could buy better locks each lock takes longer to break and faster alarms that sound sooner but they are more expensive and such then theives would have to work togther to steal the goods and such.

like say this is a job, you talk to the big boss guy and he gives u a glass cutter, it takes 15 seconds to cut the glass, but I also think I should make it longer like 25 and u then have 5 seconds to get out..that would be cool....or have a long hall way that takes 10 seconds to go down. And the stores are just a NPC's so no player will be loseing anything.

That would be for people with good processors....

Regardless of processors, it's unrealistic for there to be a job called "Robbing Mr Jewel Guy." Eventually he'd just move away.

What ever happened to throwing a brick in the front window of the store and stealing all you can in 40 seconds. Run to the nearest parking lot, then hide the money in a bush or something, then stand outside your car pretending that your car is either not working, or you've been locked out of it. When the police come around, wave at them and ask them to help you with your car problem. When they help you, wait untill they are 4 blocks away (dont ask how), then get into the bag of money or whatever, take three fourths of the stuff and leave the bag opened by the bush.
I just now realized that this cannot happen on Graal and is a stupid idea. Perhaps others will not place bad ideas up in the future.
