With the new Graal version it's now possible to record Graal videos including music or sounds. If you have a video (uploaded to youtube or so) or you have questions then please post them here :D

Added :D

Was this made with Alt+6?

Switch 09-25-2007 01:07 AM

yes, I edited it in Windows Movie Maker (cut some stuff out) so u didn't have to see the stupid stuff we did.

Also I think you should make a pause button too. And I dunno why it was a bit laggy, 20 fps is too laggy for me my self, eve that was laggy on my comp. but that also looked laggy in vid not just my comp which it doesn't usually.

The video grabbing (from DirectX) is not the fastest right now, can probably improve that sometime. When you record 320x240 10 fps then it should be ok though.

When you use te new improved filming system now that it records sound my comp slows, i lagged a few times and did die but not by this guy I had people team me, though I cut that out. I almot killed em both tho but then I lagged like crazy i couldn't even see what was happening

Crow 09-25-2007 02:55 PM

What are your system specs that you are lagging when recording videos dude..

Switch 09-25-2007 09:38 PM

I'll let you know ASAP...

Once you tell me what that is and how to find it.

Even fast systems can have problems. The main speed problem is the grabbing of the picture from the screen, it's ok when you do 320x240 but can make problems if you capture the whole window. Also the Windows NTFS is not the fastest file system.

My system specs aren't that bad and even I lag during video recording, even when using video recording software like Camtasia.

Thats true, but I'm running a AMD Sempron 3000+ with 1gb ram and a GeForce 6600 from Leadtek, 256mb, and I can record up to 800*600 pixels without lagging.

AMD Sempron 3000+ is a bad processor.
