It seems like a good idea... at the time...

Well i was wondering because i know the msvcr80.dll error can be fixed by uninstalling windows firewall, but i was wondering if i can re-install it safely without ruining graal or defender...?

Get Norton :P But there shouldnt really be no problem if you just manage it correctly.

Eww, do NOT recommend Norton.
Uninstalling a firewall should not be a fix for any game, or program for that matter, bugs.

Windows Defender, along with some other .NET applications such as Office 2007 or Windows Live Messenger, have created the problem for some people. Perhaps see if the problem is fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling some of these.

Windows DEFENDER not Windows Firewall, completely different things.

Try a .manifest file for the Graal executable, I posted about it somewhere. It will tell Graal where to load the .DLL file it needs.

Although, I thought Stefan fixed that by making the PM windows or so use the Gui Controls...
