The Temp-PA Applications
 

I have made my decision on the Temp-PA applications. To be honest, they all could have used some work so please don't take it personal if you weren't selected. The two I have selected are:
Donarks and Starman###(Xen)

For all not selected (and the two selected in some cases) I think you need to work on your application making skills.

First I'd look a little bit more into the job I was applying for. A lot of people took this application is if it was an ET application. Temp-PA is far different from ET. Temp-PAs don't permanently have staff rights, only do when ETs feel like hiring them temporarily to help them with individual events.

Saying you have no weakness (which about 6 people did) isn't a great idea either. Sure it shows a bit of confidence in yourself but it also shows that your not very humble. Everyone has a weakness at eveything, I could probably tell some weaknessless players what problems they would encounter based on their Temp-PA apps.

Past staff exerience never hurts. And I mean staff experience on either a classic server or GraalKingdoms. Being ET on a server that never reaches the "Hosted" tab really doesn't amount to much.

I think if everyone took a little more time in writing their applications they would be an improvement. Maybe ask myself or an ET for assistance to maybe point you in the right direction next time.

And I don't recall saying that no. I won't give answers to the specific questions but pointing in the right direction isn't bad. If someone asks me "Whats the answer to this question" then I'll ignore them XD.

Instead of having 4654765768 different people, They have a few people to choose from. Think of it as an early stage of ET that those nubs probably won't get.

Temp-PA is just a trial run for potential ETs, its not a loss at all if they don't make it :D lol.

Then going through the entire process of applications would be rendered a pointless process. It would be best to make a well-judged decision so that the time spent actually choosing those people would have a beneficial outcome.

Applications aren't pointless at all even if they are bad Temps? Depends on your perspective, but I take mistakes as a learning opportunity. Not that Donark or Xen were mistakes in any way, I'm just saying theres no loss what so ever if they are.

I can't really know the players potential until they either host or show me they understand things about hosting. Thats what I used applications for anyway.

Well, you stated that there is no loss if they are mistakes and this in turn leads one to believe that you showed little care when dealing with the applications. If they are mistakes then the entire application process would have to be done all over again which constitutes as a loss, as the first time around seemed to be less effective.

aw i missed it.

1. The applications were taken with great care. The best two applications were selected. I just see no loss if their failures (because there is none).
2. The application phase is still going on as I made it an "open" application. I don't mind reading more applications, I don't see it as a waste of time.

They might be. One of them abused before and have abused on other servers. Donark, Graal Ghetto. Xen, temped and kicked me for no reason before event and ..... not going to say rest :)

Other server's actions should not affect on any other server. Unless it was something reall abusive. I say Donark is alright. Xen isn't even a ET. He's a Temp PA he can't even hire people. So why lie about something you don't even know about?

Im talking about when tench temped him and tenc didn't understand the PA rule and Xen lyed and kicked me for no reason and then lyed to a et about what I said.

Ok what? First it said "Xen temped me and then kicked me" Now it's Tench? Get your story straight first then please post.
