Idle

For a few months or so the disconnectifnotmoved doesn't work, and now i'm getting sick of people idling for days none stop just to get game hours, can this please be fixed so disconnectifnotmoved works again.

Felix_Xenophobe 04-24-2007 04:28 PM

Yeah it's pretty lame :/ should be fixed asap.

Ravenblade1979 04-24-2007 04:34 PM

Yes must be fixed.

SayianOozaru 04-24-2007 04:51 PM

I thought it was just me... :o

I actually like it...I don't always log off when I get up from the computer, and when I get back I don't have to relog back on.

Does it really matter that much to you guys about players getting hours? x_x

Obviously does to the people idling, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.

Novo 04-24-2007 04:57 PM

Oh noes! Ring the alarms! RING THE ALARMS! Someone is... Getting online time. Oh dear no! It can't be!

Felix_Xenophobe 04-24-2007 05:00 PM

Nearly all graal players use hours to tell how long someone has been around and if they are a 'noob' or not.

It doesnt matter, but i have 2350 hours and i didin't idle for any of them so if i see people getting hours by idling it makes me mad that i got mine by playing the game and other just got it for going to bed and leaving it on.

Moonite 04-24-2007 09:00 PM

and my **** sice is that long
jesus.... why should anyone care about hours :x

Felix_Xenophobe 04-24-2007 09:33 PM

It's obviously a bug and should be fixed. z.z
oh and gj @ sice

Novo 04-24-2007 10:15 PM

A bug? They probably did that to have an appearance of having a higher player count.

zokemon 04-24-2007 10:43 PM

It isn't a bug o_o
It's only a Boolean variable (that can be true or false).

kia345 04-24-2007 11:23 PM

Oh my god, people staying online, improving your playercount and making you look get next to Delteria, it's the end of the world.

MajinDragon 04-25-2007 07:12 AM

At GK's current average playercount i don't mind people idling otherwise we'd be at 1-5 people for most of the day.

What game are you playing? there's atleast 15-30 people on during the day.

10-25 of them idling

kia345 04-25-2007 02:52 PM

That was the first intelligent post I've seen here, and I agree with it

Felix_Xenophobe 04-25-2007 03:09 PM

Seriously.. idlers do NO GOOD AT ALL. Does it matter if 5 players are on or if 20 are on (15 idlers)? No. They are both shyt numbers.

I didn't know there was one normal people played to begin with

Ravenblade1979 04-26-2007 02:53 PM

I have seen the same account idle all day all this week so far (lukeslick) while he's in school etc....what the hell here. Aren't you people gonna fix the idle length so that don't happen?

update: more caught idling..YahMah and Romain (Sango_ku)

I agree, they should not be allowed to idle.

Crow 04-26-2007 03:32 PM

No one should be allowed..then you have noobs with 2k+ hours thinking they are better then others because of their hours.

Felix_Xenophobe 04-26-2007 09:09 PM

funny how Sky hasnt been mentioned.. he's been idling for like 2 days straight sometimes.

Crow 04-26-2007 09:15 PM

Why dont you just ingame pm Björn x-x He just has to set the option from 'false' to 'true'. I doubt its bugged.

Crimson2005 04-26-2007 09:16 PM

He's hardly ever on. I haven't seen him on for very long over the last week.

I've been around since '99 and I only have 64 hours on gk, and 550 on UN.

Quite.

Gothika 07-02-2007 10:19 PM

I don't judge people by their hours. In my eyes, they are olbies If I've seen them playing for a few years.

Very much the same here.

Pimmeh 07-03-2007 11:05 AM

I judge oldbies about their renown...If I heard of someone he is an oldbie in my eyes...well that and if he/she played for a while afcourse... :p

cyan3 07-03-2007 03:48 PM

Oldie is over rated because if you have played longer than another player they are a Newbie. But the Newbie has played for a short time so everybody who is better than him is an Oldie so such titles are based on the player it self not how long you have played.

smashatakk 07-16-2007 01:42 AM

meh

i agree... how about if idling for more than 5 mins or so... hour count pauses until the char is active

DustyPorViva 07-16-2007 01:55 AM

I'd rather have a lower playercount with no idlers, faster for the others who actually want to play.
