Reinstate Party System
Please, please.. please! reinstate the damn party system. The whole not able to join a party after level 20 thing sucks. Make the it so you have to be within 10-20 levels of the other people..
Every server of this type needs a party system that works fully. I missed doing Brutals in parties and lord hunting parties. Just bring the damn thing back. |
The 10-20 levels thing doesn't work because you can still be the same level as someone and exploit different areas of experience since altars de-level you. It could be implemented again, however, if the altars just took away 1 base wis every time you switch.

And the god Brigid was made for parties because you can't use weapons but get spells to support the party. please bring the party system back its more fun to level with a party its boring on your own. |
Make it so you cannot level someone by leeching exp...? Its extremely simple to do that... x-x

What you're suggesting is not new, and 'leeching' won't be prohibited when using the party system unless exp loss is disabled.
|
I think EXP loss from alters could be swapped with stat loss. Like when you change got you lose wis, power. That sort thing.

Make it so that the exp that goes to each person is adjusted based on their own level in the area the exp is going to.

point of the party is to get a little less exp per party member, and make it easier to kill mobs or complete a quest...

One idea to limit XP they should just make it everyone gains the XP of the person with the highest level of that area. Or even better Googi's idea of making the XP = based on each players level. |
I have a pretty rough estimate calculated for how many brutals are necessary to fully level up an area, and it's not really a crazy number. Just takes a whole lot of patience.

It cannot be enabled until exp loss in wisdom is removed.

Or A time limit between swithcing a looong time. |
It doesn't really matter which way you do it as long as exp loss is not an option.

Somehow I doubt you'd know that.

One way to fix the party bugs that are preventing us from getting parties restored is rather simple.
The real issue is you get exp in what skill YOU are using, when your friend is killing some other monster. Physical levels shouldnt transfere over parties first off, but wisdom and magic, even mental could. I suppose Agility could too. But when you think about it, if they kill something with their wisdom level at level 6 and get 50,000 points for something big, why should you get 50,000 points at level 30. Maybe instead you should get your levels experince for killing the same thing, at a reduced rate. Since your in a party you shouldn't get full experience for someone else killing a monster, but instead a reduced amount of it. What you all SHOULD be talking about is those numbers in which everyone can agree upon. The amount of experience you get from level difference, the number of people in the party, and finally your own level compaired to your parties. |
Just make it so you only get exp for what YOU kill, let the parties come back but make it so you get exp for the monsters you kill now what your friend kills

How about, for what you kill, you get the most exp out of. But everyone else get's 10% of the exp you get. |

That could still be exploited at a much slower rate. If they keep lowering their level so that they get 1mil from a lord, you'd still get 100k per lord, even if you're level 90. At level 17 I'm getting like 10k maybe? |

And maybe if you and a someonelse in the party kill the same monsters. You 2 get a team work bonus. Somthing like 10% extra exp. |
Either remove exp loss or make it to where you only get experience in the areas other people are levelling in. (They use wisdom to kill something, you all get wisdom exp instead of having exp directed toward whatever skill you have readied at the time, like physical.)

It would be best I think to make the XP gain based on each players level. |

It would be good if it was based on individual level and contribution. |

This would let those elite few (fro is all i know, but i'm sure there's more) change to any god whenever they choose. So he could bless max of all gods. instead of just having a monopoly over ogma, he would monopolize all gods....... Did i make it clear this time? |
