New Guild Admin
 

Graal needs a new Guild Admin, Vulcan has already expressed that he does not wish to be the Admin anymore, which was pretty obvious when he didn't do anything with Guilds over the past few weeks.

When i made my guild it took about 1 month to get it active but that was along time ago.

Isn't he busy enough as it is? I still think Minoc would be good though.

I associate the words "Guild Admin" with Minoc, I have no idea why. I believe he'd be perfect for the job.

Yeah I think it's about time someone who actually knew something about Guilds and had an understanding of them, was hired.

It's honest to God like a 2 minute job...you don't need a position for it. Unixmad can do it once a day in between episodes of Seinfeld or while he warms up his hot pocket.

Note: I am in no way supporting Unixmad or promoting his ability to acomplish anything productive or sensible, I am simply stating that if he was a normal functioning entrepreneurer he wouldn't place it in the hands of a 14 year old kid and he would get off his ass and do it himself. [/note]

Minoc would be a good choice I think.

A new Guild Admin is not required. Stefan and/or Unixmad could do it whenever they get on or so, it's not a process that takes a lot of time.

If you don't know the story with Vulcan, then don't judge him, and don't assume. If he's too busy with life, then it's Stefan's job to handle it, not yours, but for all you know, he could very well be active, but may have other reasons for not activating guilds 24/7; it's called having a life.

Vulcan can speak to Stefan about it as he chooses. If he already has, then that means that Stefan simply doesn't have much interest in the issue. A bunch of players getting riled up on the forums only leads to more strict moderation and a new addition to the rules.

You guys go about getting things done the wrong way, thus why you guys never have your way.

You claim to have been around Graal longer than me, which if I may add, I've been around for ages now, yet you cease to understand that every thread that is created like this one only turns into a war in which it is closed and you leave the moderators pissed off, with nothing positive coming from them.

You know, the administration actually views support tickets, and you're more likely to get an answer through a support ticket than a forum thread.

Oh get over yourself. Stop talking like you know what the moderators are going to do. Last time I heard it's not up to them to make rules, and if they did, they'd have to go through unixmad first.

There are enough complaints about lack of updates, I don't think it would be good to have Stefan or Unix do it. Having someone to go to that does nothing but guild issues would be a good idea. I support Minoc too.

I'll keep it on topic, because I made the damn thread. I'm just angry at Gambet because he said this will turn into a fight, and that's exactly what he wants so the thread gets closed.



-Word of advice, there is no point in "voting" for someone who doesn't talk to Stefan/unixmad, because they would have trust issues, you're better off looking towards Skyld/Cheetos, etc.

Cheetos isn't as active anymore, your best bet is Skyld.

You don't have to give him a formal title or anything, but I believe that HoudiniMan should have access to guilds. He's on almost everyday, and I believe he would be able the simple task of 'ACCEPT' and 'REJECT'. He's already proven to everyone he can handle the PWA job and has Stefan's "trust."

I just want my guild accepted already.

I have no opinion on who it should be, because none of you would be good canidates.

All I do have to say is that no one cares about how long you've been on Graal. Like it matters. Some people have been here since day one and are still idiots.

I know this is a thread about the Guild Admin but i had saw a thread about a month ago with devil complaining about PWA. Devil, do you have a pending guild? I'm sure it's not your problem to post this thread.
