Recording Submissions
 

New recordings are being asked for. Just record a sample of your voice and you can modify it. Think of any commands you want. Yet the ones we are looking for are as follows:

"Base1 Captured"
"Base2 Captured"
"Base3 Captured"
"Base4 Captured"
"Base5 Captured"
"Protect Base1"
"Protect Base2"
"Protect Base3"
"Protect Base4"
"Protect Base5"
"Get Down! Get Down!"

All recordings are appreciated and will be implemented into the server. Go crazy, it's even better if they sound a bit weird! Just record yourself speaking a command into the mic and if you know how to modify it, great! If not, then Stefan is fine with doing it himself (Aren't you Stefan?) You will even receive your name in the credits (We will hopefully update that soon, the credits are found on information towers on dropships).

I made some I will finish tomorro. It won't let me loade mp3s so you have to tell me how to get em attached (I have a corosponding voice to all the bases)

Zip it

Colin in case you didn't understand, Stefan wasn't telling you to shut up (zip it could mean that hehe) but rather compress it. Use Winrar to create a .zip file.

Probly but I don't know how to open the zip wizerd without having a zip forder in the first place.....

just use winzip: www.winzip.com

after you install it right click your desktop select "New Winzip File" or maybe it might be like it is for me "Compressed (Zipped) File"

That will create a new one, now all your do is drag and drop your files you want to zip, ontop of the new winzip file, and it will zip it up.

did you download winrar like I told you to?

What kind of voice are you looking for this?

Anyways, do with these as you please. Stefan, if you want to contact me about doing more, then just PM me. I can pretty much make it sound however you'd like, my studio program works wonders with ones' voice.

They lack motivation in my opinion. They actualy sound like somebody who was recording them but didin't want anyone to hear him so he did it in a low voice.

It's not a low voice, it has a walkie-talkie effect. The phrases are extremely small and arn't motivational for me to put much motivation in them. None of the things that I recorded needed to be anymore motivational than they are now. The phrases I worked with were simple, and are supposed to be more direct/demanding than motivational.

Hmmm Gambet they need to be improved / recorded again. They need to have more expression (the get-down-get-down sounds more whiny instead of like the voice of a soldier). Also I would probably prefer the simple wav files without the microphone effect at the start and at the end so that I can add it myself, right now it's too much clicking instead of microphone-noise.

Those all sound like robots to me, and the last one I could barely understand at all.

So you don't want effects or what?

Erm, i like how he put them together with the radio effects n stuff but they arent very clear and some sound as if hes trying to shout in a low voice which basicly sounds like a little kid playing army men

They need to sound more like a soldier shouting

They don't really sound like soldiers, more like announcements over a P.A.
