The Platformer
 

Well everyone knows ive been planning to work on a platformer server and yes its getting closer to kicking off, just waiting for Stefan or unixmad to do something or other.

But more to the point, im in need of someone with a great imagination, story writer. Along those lines, not in need of lats, gats or nats.

If you think you can help me create riddles and indepth designs + storys and plots then please post here. The platformer wont be like some silly mario game, im planning to create a story that you can really fall into and become interested.

Dont see why it wont be possible this time, With Stefan scripting, me, elk and safe doing the artwork. And levels we can all do, skys the limit this time :)

Im sorry to say that we dont have enough work to actually produce a screenshot, we are currently developing a brand new tileset, alot better than the old one.

"I" am currently developing a brand new tileset o.o

Are you and tom still working together?

Yea we are, and Elk its not just "i" because you wont be making the whole tileset along in the long run. Dont start that stuff dude.

I see you guys worked stuff out. Hopefully no one's ego kills the project again.

I messed around with the Idea of Jump'n'Run myself a few months ago.

I know my work is horrible, but I think my ideas for the background aren't too bad and it may inspire you.:)

For some reason, these levels do not look as impressive as the ones which were posted in the Level Editing forum some time ago (this is all I could find concerning it).

Thats just what that guy did when he was messing arround with the idea. They havent posted a preview of their work yet.

They posted a couple screenshots, and from what I can see, the server is taking a step backwards from what I posted. The tiles they're using are too bland, too simple. What they showed in the screenshot I provided was nice, quality work, and was the reason I was interested in the server.
I'm sure it is possible.

Ugh - I don't want to criticise your development plans - but surely you're not having images as the background in the levels are you?! Anyway, that looks awesome!!

That is what I'm talking about, those tiles have detail, when you see them, you know you're playing a quality server. The screenshots from before make it seem like the server is subpar, but if you could impliment these tiles, it'd boost the quality of the server by quite a bit.

I did say the new tiles were better than the old, thanks to Elk :)
Draenin is also now onboard which is a great addition to the team.

This time it will finish :D I cant wait to release the first Beta and get the feedback.
