People always talk about all the past legends and who was the best. I ask if we could creat a History Library that would tell you about alot of the past legends so that they wouldn't be forgotten with all the changing times. You could make it as a new planet or something. It probly wouldn't have ranks on how good everyone actually was but atleast might have details about the character, favourite weapon, acheivments, how good they really was ect ect. I think this would be a great idea as most names have already bin forgotten, such as Muroku, FireBoX, Tao, Ace, Storm.

Like irl legends, word of mouth is enough. Making a library is just another ego-party.

If people are good enough, they will be remembered. Enough said. This is just a bad idea which will cause to many arguements. People will run around complaining when they hear that they arn't in it.

i like it...and seems like you guys forgot about BeyondYourDistance -_- that fool was hella good...and tao wasnt that great, when i started using apps in the first month or so i beat him in a spar...and i had just started using apps, switching from my muramasa lol...the old days...

i like this idea alot though, but you should only go into the "library" if you get 100 kills to 0 deaths on a planet...and no mines count this way it would prove your "skill"

and maybe make it like the "Statistic" thing...you grab the bookshelf or w/e and pick a weapon and it shows you whos gotten 100 kills : 0 deaths or better and with what weapon...and it would show everyone, not just the first 12...

No it doesn't. As long as you place multiple mines on top of each other or at least 4-5 together then you're instantly a mine expert. I dislike the idea. It would inflate egos. Besides... Ace, Muroku, Tao, FireBoX and Storm will never be forgotten as long as the older players are around and keep their story alive.

no it takes skill jar, ya you could plant mines in 4 and hope to blow someone up, or you could be good at it, and place it where u no people will go...i always follow a path that i usually take on the planet, and i plant the mines there cause i no someone will step on it ;)

If you're only remembered by a book or in the archives, then you're not truly a legend and shouldn't be remembered at all.

Absolutly correct. If your a legend, truly a legend, word of mouth is all you need... To be put into a book, and that being the only way your remember, big deal... Also, the 100-0 thing isn't good... There needs to be a different method, mostly because I can ask my pal Touya to log on to his 5 or 6 trials and I get on my 5 or 6 trials and get 100-0 in a matter of minutes.
Plus, most of the people you named arn't that great anyways (not naming names so no one can complain as to who shouldn't be there :))

Oh, let me appologize please, hes right and I agree with him... I agree with him because him and I share the same views, but you say 2 people can't change it... Well, to be honest this idea won't be made... Do you think Stefan or Vulcan will want to waste time on players who no longer support them money wise? Also, be honest, what would you rather? Having new weapons (which you gfx'd) or then waste time on this?

That's a lie. I have never met FireBoX, but I still have heard about him, same goes for Tao. If you leave a great enough impact on the game it will not fade away over time.

I believe that. Let's say for example uhh, Typhoon quit Zone, or better yet, Graal completely. Typhoons friends and other people who knew him would one day be talking along with a few new players and

And so other people will know of Typhoon and some will actualy brag that they know more about Typhoon, such as some people right now brag that they knew someof the older legends.

And indeed, in the future...new players will have decent grammar...

Screw idiots, how many players on Zone have staff experience? Of those how many are actually good staff, let alone developers? And take those "developers" and how many of them are even good?

The majority of Zone "legends" are blithering retards that cant even spell their own names properly, have major social deficits or have tempermental personalities that flip at the slightest thing.

Being a legend isnt wasting god knows how many hours staring and pulling your pubic hair out over pixels, being a legend is educating. Therefore, Crono, Huwajux, Typhoon and myself are the only plausible Zone "legends". Move along.

The only complete Zone legend, im my opinion, is Gambet. He did a lot of work for Zone, I think he was the one who got the ET position rolling, and contributed to the server. He was a developer, could spell his own name correctly, and a friend.

Huwa is a semi-legend, but not a full legend. He set the standards for all ET's and helped me out when I was new to the position. He was a longtime friend even during periods when most the elites hated me for what I said on these forums and has decent ideas.

Just my thoughts.

You do realize that Zone is supposed to take place in a solar system where war is all the time? Why the hell would they have a library? Legends survive through word of mouth and experience, simple as that.

Because the layzyer players need a place to sip there tea??... Zones not all about War, half the players spend more time discussing than fighting. And a more than well known topic they talk about is the "Old zone" and the "Old players".. Best give them true facts over than chinease whispers..
