Big Five Summit
 

!!!Summit will be held on Sunday the 31st of July. Time will be put once I find out when is best for everyone. Date is also changable, so keep updated here.If you are a kingdom leader and have a problem with this date, let me know.!!!

These are the rules for the summit, and also the first section will explain how things will happen, from kingdom arrival to leaving.

Samurai will be performing security watch over the nation during the time of the meeting. Any and all hostile attacks will be met with a retaliation strike against the enemy.

Each kingdom will come in order. Zormite(samurai guests), Forest(guests?), Bel'la(guests?), Dustari(guests?), Crescent Pirates(guests?). Each group will be sailing their own ship, with a Samurai escort ship shadowing them. They will then land at the ferry dock, and escort the people of that kingdom to their assigned seats.

Once all kingdoms are seated, the doors to the actual chambers will be closed, and regular observers may enter. ALL OBSERVERS MUST REMAIN QUIET AND SEATED, if you fail to do so, you may be pilloried to be removed from the area.

I shall open up with a formal greeting to all nations and a small speech, and a thank you list. Then explain the rules as I am stating here exactly.


1. Each kingdom has its own turn to speak, in order of their arrival. Samurai is last to respond. Each kingdom has 5 minutes to speak/debate. Each guest faction/kingdom/whatever has also 5 minutes to speak.


2. Each kingdom may provide 1 type of issue to the table.


3. The order of issue/debate is. Zormite Issue. Debates= Forest+their guest, Bel'la debate+their guest, Dustari debate+guest, CP debate+guest,samurai debate+guest. Five minutes for each group, if applicable. Groups can pass their time on to another kingdom.


4. From beginning to end of the meeting, we are IC. Do not forget that.


5. Absolutely no talking when another person is speaking during their time with the floor.


6. At the end of each group , I will have the floor. I may then hand it over to the next group. This keeps things flowing smoothly. And allows me to take the floor when someone oversteps their time.


7. At any time, bjorn,stefan,unixmad (higher admins) may take the floor and interrupt a speach. Even mine, they could end the summit if they choose to.



At the end of the summit. I will ask if there are any other issues we might have missed. We will have a set amount of time for those (if we have time). If we do not, then we move on.

Also at the end, there will be a Photo Op. SS's will be taken alot, but this will be our official photo op.

Kingdoms will leave in order they arrived. Observers will leave in whatever order they chose, as long as they dont get in the way.

After all of the kingdoms are back in their drop off points, samurai ships will head home, and report in. I will give out rewards to samurai members, etc.

And that will be the end of our first Big Five Summit. (name might be changed to Global5 or G5 later just letting you all know)

((If the summit works, I hope it does, we will be able to hold other summits like this. Perhaps every Quarter-year. Kingdom leaders may call an emergency summit meeting for a very important reason. {obviously if the reason is bogus, we'll all be very mad} Lets all work together to make this game work, and make it fun for everyone!))

You're right. In your book the correct rp event would be to have a war, but who ever has the most houses wins and then gets to take over the houses of the other kingdoms. They would then get the tag (House Master) and are able to add one house a day. Maybe we need a House Admin though..hmm..

Anyway, it seems to be a good setup. Hopefully I won't have too much to do on Sunday, so I can make it to this. (Can't promise though, as I might get stuck helping build a deck.)

Or further encourage RP that does not involve waging a war onto another nation which is really just a PK fest for higher levels to show off their e-*****es.

Actually, we had Bmode people on... the only soldier(s) was that SaiyanOozaru person and he lost... horribly.

Embassy is finished I'm just waiting for a staff member to upload it. Will talk to bjorn and stefan if I see them today. Once it is uploaded I would like each kingdom's representative group, and their sponser (for us its the zormites), to come to the island and check out the building.

Each kingdom will be able to use its embassy building (inside of the embassy itself) for resting and whatnot. It is their property (rp) and they are also allowed to position soldiers inside, but not outside.

As for the kingdoms (rp) that do not have an embassy, they may use their guests embassy. Zormite will stay at the castle or another building of security.

I would like to try to get all participating kingdoms to be at the summit on Bmode. The summit chambers and embassy are NoPK zones so you wont have to worry about any problems.

If you have a problem with this PM me and we may discuss it, but I would like to see all people on bmode for the rp summit.

The area is to be a no pk zone, so a fight can't break out.
But there are ways to damage people in a no pk zone. Why don't you list them? :cool:

Hey, I'm not the person plotting to kill off people after what's supposed to be a peaceful meeting is over. I just work here.

Technically, they couldn't effect their characters from information on the forums unless it was a general knowledge post (eg. Zormite's seen landing on northern coast). So whatever yall are planning, still shouldn't be effected else it's metagaming and horrible roleplaying.

So far I think the only people who know about the summit are Shogun Bosh, perhaps his kingdom members. Everyone else is out in the blue about it.

It's not metagaming right now, because no actions have been taken to avoid anything.

And it's not general knowledge a character would know. Forum posts aren't really in character disputes. The only IC forum posts are observations of the world basicly. Announcements of what your character would see (because your game character cant seeing how game mechanics restrict sometimes)

Yeah, it is definately metagaming if they find out about anything via forums unless it is a posted announcement such as Bosh inviting kingdoms to attend this meeting, Zormites landing on the coast, the drow takeover of Zormite, etc. You sweet RP Team members can't ruin plans because for some unknown reason you support the Idiot Olphyn. I don't know the plan at all to tell you the truth. I've got a really good idea now however because of the RP Team ruining it in this thread. Thanks guys!
