The graal community is starting to decline due to ignorance. Half the threads I look at have an arguement in them. We need to stop this now.

Don't be stupid. His whole thread is dedicated to applying an label to the community members. The 'point' depends on the identity of that label. Since he's evidently gotten confused and used the wrong word, the 'point' is ambiguous. He hasn't even shown why arguments are a bad thing, so we can't extrapolate from that.

You can provide new words for him, but you're just rewriting his thread. That's great, but does it really matter? Why would anybody care about your versions?

This thread has turned into an argument (I'm sure you'd call it a 'discussion'), so i guess he was right.
And as for anyone caring, I can't make them care, and i wouldn't know who cares or not..but I paid for my account, so I'm entitled to post and have my own opinion, just like everyone else, wether people care or not.

If you disagree with someone, you obviously feel your opinion is more correct than theirs.

Why is it poor form or arrogant to attempt to prove what you feel is correct?

The only people who seem to be offended about the arguing are the people who make assertions, and then can not back them up in any way, shape or form, and become upset when someone questions them on it.

Arguments aren't that great for a community, however debates are an excellent way of learning as well as getting an idea of peoples intellegence.

Arguing, as I define it is: debating without ears. What I mean is, you don't listen to what the other people are saying, you just believe "i'm right, you're wrong".

Debating, as I define it is: conversation with a favourable opinion. What I mean is, your opinion is how you see it though you allow others to state how they feel and your opinion can be swayed.
