Graalian Awards.
 

Soon I will make polls for each of these in the forum that matches. But I am doing something that is sort of like a awards show.

It will be called the Graalian Awards:

Nominees:

Scripter of the year: Kaimetsu, Falados, Loriel

GFX Artistof the year: Kinatt, Konidias, Madwolf

Level-Builder of the year: Spanky, Madmartigan (draygin), Wandaman

Overall Developer of the year: Konidias, Soul-blade, Kuja

Global Staff of the year: Lyndzey, Spark911, Stefan

Playerworld of the year: Graal2001, Unholy Nation, Era

UC Playerworld of the year: Oasis, Shifting Ages, Val


Playerworld is based on the PW which has made the greatest strides this year, and the same with UC PW. The nominees will not change, but feel free to argue.

The nominess were decided by a popular vote of the following people: Mykel, Konidias, Tyrial, and Kronan

btw, Developer does include graphics doesn't it? So why is konidias in graphics? I think Konidias should be replaced with Deek.

I dont think we had a bias crew, and I think that if you are going to bash Tyrial, you need to take it elsewhere.

That wasn't bashing, that was called "Tyrial is jealous of soul blade and is out to kill him, so Soul Blade is making that known".

I find it kind of odd that you would nominate Stefan, seeing as he is the creator (co-creator?) of the game.

What, so you think you are mr. mature? People who call other people immature are hypocrites, because the fact they they bothered to called someone immature shows their own immaturity. Truely, if someone is mature, they would just laugh, or say ok, ignore it...but would not get offended/angry.

In other words, you are not a beacon of maturity yourself.

With the Tyrial issue, it is a way for me to have fun. Sorry if you don't like the word "fun" but it was the most fun I had on these dull forums for a while. The fact is, this is a game, meant to have fun. I don't care about "maturity", I can worry about that in real life.

The term is relative and subjective. Don't always assume your definition is the same as everyone else's.

I am not saying I am the beacon of maturity. I am not saying I always, or even most of the time act mature. But what you are doing is blatent, and ignorant.

Yes actually, Getting angry is immature. A fully developed mind (mature mind) would not need to get angry, and would realize the uselessness of it. Anger leads to idiotic actions, and idiotic actions is what we need to avoid...

Maturity is, in actuallity, reaching the peak of growth. No more developement going on...but if we constantly learn more, and develope our minds, then are we mature? No, never. As for mature by whatever standards people see it, it really makes no difference to me. It is like choosing friends, everyone has different friends.

If someone calls me immature, I find it funny. Do they even really know what that means?

I actually find the the common person (Mykel falling in that category) have their own standards for what maturity it, so it is a subjective term most of the time. It is like a ant calling a rat big...to the ant, the rat is big, but to the rat, a cat is bigger, and so on. It just depends on the person.

Let's say some murderer decides to chop up your mom and mail her to you in piecies. You get pissed. You are immature? No, it has different definitions, each change with each person, as you said, but what you are doing, is immature, and I pointed it out.

Yes actually, that would be immature. Regardless, most people would in fact either kill the person who did it, or press charges and make him never see the light of day again. The mature thing to do is realize nothing you do would make your mother come back, and the only thing to do is to go on with life...perhaps they would press charges to make sure no one else came victim, but that is going off a bit...but justice and maturity are not the same thing.

Again, read what I said about maturity. No one is ever actually mature.

Hell, even mature people get angry, it's only natural to get angry. Also, people who call others immature are not quite immature themselves. They could actually be right on with their guess!

Regardless them being right on, what does a insult do for someone? No good. Maturity sees it useless to insult someone, because it is useless. Looking at a grandma or grandpa is the best example (a normal one). They don't insult people much, and they just want to make people happy. The don't have greed, hate, anything like that. They have been around longer, and are the most mature in society. But no one is mature, and everything is immature...do you understand what I am saying?

Oh as for that comment, I guess you haven't read my posts. My posts are in fact saying I am immature...your point? I am not trying to be someone I am not. I am who I am, and eventually my mind will progress to realize there is no point to insulting people, but that time is far from coming.

Wait one sec. Graal2001 Thats a UC playerworld I thought? Or cause it's on the main list its not UC.

Well, there was two Graal2001s, the normal and the dev. I had dev renamed to Arid Haven before I quit, then a month later Stefan sent me a forum pm saying "Okay, just renamed it. Look good to seeing stuff from you."

Threads/polls like this are stupid, biased, and a waste of space and time.

:( Only award I have ever gotten...

They are completely unfair to those who do not "shove their work out into the public eye" though.
