this is one of the levels im making to send in to hopefully become a Newworld Beta tester
This level isnt done though

Also, when they ask for Url, im assuming they want the level file. So they dont want just a picture do they?

aside from the cliffs being...rather well, uhhh standard objects it looks spiffy

this cliff itself. take a look at the underground lake shots. now *thats* something I like. it's all jaggedy and stuff

Why would you make a level to be a beta tester? :confused:

im betting too test npcs and everything just like they do with ToT

add more curves. make it more detailed.

i was going to try out for newworld, but i changed my mind. i made 2 levels, neither of them are complete. i'll show them i guess.

You shouldn't have uploaded them to the same name, so I only saw the new one, so I can't really compare

ugly, flat, boring, riddled with tile errors.

Tip:
DONT USE PREFINED OBJECTS!

Get a new pathway, put in some grass and flowers, put in some desert and dirt type tiles, etc.

They are part of a city that will be on a hand-made continent I've decided to make for Valikorlia (A server that actually DOES RP ;)).
I hope to show just how stupid level generator is, and since it's summer I have lots of time to space out the project in when I have the time.

ok, Bird scale, This is what I think, It lacks alot of detale, it needs more of an envorment not tiles that look bad together or scaterd objects that dont look to good, your levels dont seem to , "flow" right, the tiles seem at war with eachother, make it prity, make it plesent, dont stick tles on and say thats a level, a level is a pice of art, you add to much, fix it or expand upon that, you add to little always add more untill its too much, if its in conflict with everthing in it, it wont sell. 5.6 on the bird scale. needs some work, but its still nice.

Fish man! I love the levels, just one thing, the dirt, its 1 tile, make it multiple dirt tiles, there are 5 dirt tiles, make use of them I like the whole layout of the levels, SPIFF! 8.4!

I don't see how desert tiles would look good in a grassy scene. Explain your resoning, or prove that im wrong on this one?

If were going to be showing levels does anyone mind if I show one of mine? Considering im working more towards the NPC end of graal I dont think it is so bad. I also think I made other stuff to it but im not retacking SS hehehe

Lyndzey, I try to make my own stuff. The cliff needs to be changed ok. And I know that I need some more creative things in mine. But I didnt see any tile errors, except at the northern cave, and at the bottom house.
I prefer to stay away from predefined objects

yeah, basically. i have had my share of experience with trying to get my house updates on graal classic, and i don't want to go through that again.

what tile errors
care to point em out? cause i sure dont see any

it may be ugly to you, but there are not any tile errors (that i see at least)


and about the levels thing

You see the cliffs? See how the bottoms overlap each other kind of? that's an error.

:D I have the time and dedication on my hands to make a full 50 level project in 2-3 weeks, It gets hard on the artistic part of the brain after 5 levels in a row, I start seing tile errors and misplaced npcs in real life if I work to long and hard !HH!H!H!,, oh my, I see a tile error by my window, :eek: I think alot of people dont make levels for newmain because it takes alot of time and patints,

Bird level motto: A level is like a painting, the more time and effor you put into it, the more statsfying it is, if you slop on some paint and call it a pacaso, you got a nice PW level, if you slap on some tiles and compare it to a mona lisa, you are a freak, wait this is not a motto AH!, ok here it is, A good level is but 1 in 1000, a level that can be compared to a painting is 1 in 50, can you tell its late at night> I make no sense, STEFAN HELP ME I AM TIRED AHH!

Adyway, I don see any tile errors on the cliff. But when I get home im gonna post the newest version of my level. I think i consider it done, thouh I know of somehing to fix.
