im kinda mad that the staff right now is hiring n00bs for events team.ive been here since March and i havent got a staff position and people that have came here yesterday are getting staff positions because they are friends of the staff.
its not that im mad that i havent got a position its just that theres alot more people that have more experience then some of these people. Yesterday i went to an event and the events team member asks me how do i start the event and how do i reset it. i told him that he was the events team not me!!! who hires these ediots? i know they might be well-known in Main but who really cares if they dont know anything about graal 2001 events. the only 3 people that i think are good events team staff are Cloud Strife, Spanko, and Sparkplug. -Jin

I agree, sure its nice to offer newbies somethings sometimes, but staff positions??

When Valder was hiring i saw about 5 online! now 2?? thats messed. I guess the people thought, "cool! I could become Staff!" then thought, after they got their tags, "Man.... this is boring."

Why is it when someone plays graal , they think that they are entitled a staff position? I played graal from 1.31 to 4.02 and never had a staff position.

Every day when I go on SL , I get at least 20 requests to be staff.

I've been here since 1.34, and I managed to land myself a Game Co-ordinator job on classic and a job as a Police on 2001. It's not how long you've been playing, it's how good you are at such and such job.

I've been playing for a LONG time and I have never gotten a staff position on Graal 2001 and a staff position on Classic once.

Man, ive been playin since like 1.12 or sumthin. I used a different account then. And i stopped when we had the "great account wipe". Anybody here then???

1.12?! I think you mean 1.2 or something, because 1.2 is when accounts came out

hehe, when I first got stuck I like spammed toall:'s because I didn't know how the chat system worked and I was used to seeing players text come up on my screen, never knew i had to click those stupid bubbles -_- I think 1.2 had PM's though, I forget.

I dont know, i was one of the early ones. I played around with the split screen for a couple of weeks before i found out there was online play though.

Agreed. I'm a complete newbie but I could easily get hired on most places as a scripter.

Its not how long you have been playing, or if you know the staff (in some cases) but its the amout of dedication, and the level of your ablitys. Now, I have only been playinhg this game for about 4 months, already Im a LAT on NewMain, and Police, Its not because I always Said HIRE ME HIRE ME I R BE GOOD! I had to prove myself, I proved myself to be a compatant police officer, even though I asked about 6 times to be a LAT, in the end, I was asked. SHowing that you are capible, and worth the tag, thats what It is, and people that get the tags for free, most likely get fired after a week or so of not fuffling their job, and thats what it is, a job, not a position, not a fun tag thing for warpto and stuff, its a job, and before anyone can get hired, they must realize that...

i think i started at the beginning of 1.41 and when i call someone a n00b i mean a n00b on g2k1 not in graal. the point is they get people that have no experience with the stuff in graal 2001 they are new to the events and stuff.

Ive been here since 1.23 and I havent been offered a staff job. Sure I have on other servers but I dont wanna help some crappy effed up server.
Cloud strife said he was gonnag et me a job on ET but he never did that..
I was offered a job for GP 1 TIME on classic awhile back and they decided not to accept me for it for no reason.
When I first started Graal, I was never offered any staff jobs. Now, when a 1 second noob walks into graal im sure he is offered with 2047293462964487284924378 staff jobs.
Oldbies need to run graal, not the noobs!

And yes, I know, experience and quality is what gets you a staff job, but how can you show your stuff when they dont even give you a chance?
