ET Tag Abuse
 

I was PKing richard when he didnt have his tag on. I kill him and go for him again. I got him down to 1.5 and he puts his ET tag on. He goes "if you dont stop im going too report this to mafukie". I said "I dont care, you're abusing tag" and continued. He then calls a horse with the horse whistle NPC (That was meant only for event purposes, mind you) to escape. As he's trying to escape, I kill him.

I am tired of this bullcrap.

Mafukie was doing something similar to that. He went on graal classic and threatened to ban any staff members that abused their massing powers.

I only killed him once and then after I had him down to 1.5, vergil, he put it on.

And 5 times is harrassment, not 2.

pking on graal 2001 is incredibly stupid

no, you missed the point of my post. Game said pking on 2001 is dumb. And I said not if you are pking someone like hippie or waar. Meaning they are not wussies and are fun to pk with. So waar is not dumb.

Most PKers on Graal2001 just run into the spar room so they don't get a death. That pisses me off more than anything.

if someone keeps attacking you, why dont you just log off? its sort of a wussy tactic but if you dont like fighting..

I just try to steer clear of areas where people pk.....if im in a place where i feel threatened (bomboria).....i'll just run into one of the events buildings :D Im not much of a pker, but i will attack someone if I feel I have even the slightest advantage.

hehe...reminds me of the Coward Sim on Perfect Dark: Runs from others, but will attack if it thinks it can win.

When I try and PK someone they say they take a screenshot and are going to get me banned because I am in Police.

hahaha! but they can't unless you're on duty. and you wouldn't be banned anyway ... man people are stupid at sometimes, *sigh*.

Well, I can't exactly remember the details about your mass, you know.

I don't think that is all great... disabaling it to work outside the horse area will be a nuciance for other ET members.

I have held a LOT more events since the whistle was released to ET because it is a lot easier to get to my destination like the Gully Race start etc.

I think that the majority of ET should not have it changed but instead only disable the ABUSERS ability to use it outside.

So while we have to search hours on end for a horse, you just snap your fingers and it's right there for you?

And just think, EVERYONE is in ET now...or at least like half of the Graal population. And when is that "election" thing taking place for the ET members?

When I was an ET, I had several things:

1) Madbrad was NEVER on, so I could never get any gralats to hold events with.

2) I never had and "super kewl" horse whistle thing to go wherever in a flash. I actually had to LOOK for my horse.

And no warping for ET, it's just another thing available for them to abuse.

I suggest Stefan add a special NPC that has the ability to warp an event's team member to an event's location, and make it so after being used once, it cannot be used again for one minute.

No, police would use there tags to get black horses with that whistle personaly.... Make it so you can only ride the horse if your police tag is on.

I vote that events become more properly supported by scripting. If an events team member wishes, they can start an event. A server string is created and suchlike to handle the necessary information, and the event's existence is broadcast to the players somehow.

During the time that an event is on (they expire after a certain time) an ET member can call horses and do things like that. After that, the ability ceases to function.

Logs are made (easy with scripting) of every event - duration, starter, type etc. These logs are regularly viewed by a senior admin and then removed from the list when they seem to check out.

Whilst an event is running, players can rate that event and the averaged scores are stored with the event stuff.

This whole system provides the following:

• Better management of ET members' activities and abilities.
• Ways to rate whether a member is doing everything that they should be and not just slacking off.
• A formal approach that makes things much more accessible for newer players - they know that an event is happening straight away, even if they miss a mass that announces it.
• Probably some other stuff. I just wanted more than three items in my list.

That's debatable. Personally I don't think it's so bad to let ET members have a couple of priveleges, but that's not the point. The point is that the system would give admins the ability to restrict them.

PKing is about the only fun thing there is to do on graal.
