I still think it would be damn cool if they made a FFVII movie. Just imagine, people playing as Cloud with his spikey hair, Cait Sith... and Sephiroth!

I probably won't be going to see the Final Fantasy movie because it's animated and it's hard to get friends to go to an animated film, no matter what it is.

I could careless about Tomb Raider. I want to see Pearl Harbor.

I don't want to see Final Fantasy. It has NOTHING to do with the SquareSoft games other than the title, which pisses me off.

I think Final Fantasy rises to the occasion, since I'm such a big FF player. =)

Yes, usually not the same plot but it has the same traditions like old spells, old summoned creatures, old classes like Dragoons and Black Mages, and old creatures like Cactuars and Moogles.

You shouldn't shun final Fantasy because it has nothing to do with any other final fantasy- NONE of the final fantasies had something to do with another, why should this one be any different?

Yes, just like Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross had nothing to do with each other (at least, from what I heard).

The two stories tied together. Technically, Crono Cross wasn't actually a sequel to Crono Trigger.
