This is my first bomy. It is not close to being finished but...well, it is a start. Tell me if you like it or not.

call it eggi. Then when people setbomy they go "eggi0"

... I don't like it. It's just a birce with a shell on it's head. Not too pretty to look at. If we wanted something like that, we would make Bomy Hats....

How about not Gonmon. Mumi 0 is just a birce or something else with a turban on its head...Plus, I redid the upper body except for the shoes which I changed to blue. So, no. If I send it into you, you will probably just reject it because you dont like it. I made this thread to see if people liked it. Also, Fai, I think I might do that.

I like the premise, but why recolour birce when you could make your own one dedicated to the idea? I'd have it as an egg with legs that walks around with a hole in the front of the shell to look out of or something like that.

Maybe a one eye hole? Or it has 2 eyes but can only see from 1 because one is blocked by the inside of the shell?

Bah ah well.. Here's what I've been working on for a bit here.

Also, the bomy mumi never made it to the auto submitter, so I never saw it.

The egg thing. I would've made sense but everyone posted while I was typing. I've pretty much finished it now, anyway...

I didn't say it was good, I didnt say it was impressive. But it's an egg, and dangit, I drew it. I'm very proud. That's the kind of thing I was talking about, Nai.

I never said it was good, it's just a concept sketch. Besides, you have your talents and I have mine. You're a gazillion times better than me at art, but I'd beat you at scripting.

No problem. At least now I know how polite to be if I ever see a script you've made.

Yeah, and you're rude. Just 'cos you're a good artist doesn't give you the right to attack anyone else who posts their 30-second sketches. You're not above me, so don't act like you're in some way superior.

No, you should stay out of peoples conversations if they dont want you in them. So it is easier for you, we dont want you in ours.

It wasn't an art presentation. It wasn't supposed to show off my skills. I knew it was bad and I didn't care because it was just a sketch and because I don't base my self-worth on what the "big guys" think of my art. I publicly admit that I'm a bad artist and I'm not afraid to do so.

Anyway, there's a different between noticing that it's bad and telling me that it is. It was just rude and elitist. The sketch conveyed everything it needed to so don't treat me like some danged newbie just because you are superior to me in one skill.

How are any of us ever going to get better at graphics if we cant post things that aren't perfect? Sometimes we might like to know what we should fix.

I don't mind Gonmon joining per se. He's a good artist and his opinion on my version of the egg idea is appreciated. I just don't like him acting like Mr Big and bullying people just because the pixels he puts on computer monitors happen to look good.

Gonmon is a great artist.
