GameCube at E3
 

I hate traveling, but I went on a trip with my freind to go visit another friend of ours that lives in Oklahoma. And it's taking abut 2 days to get back home. So while we're on the road I've been using my friend's laptop to browse the net, and mostly keep up with E3.

I've been using http://e3.nintendo.com and http://cube.ign.com to keep up with E3. And now I'm more anxious to get a GC than I was before. GameCube has a lot of titles that look great. I'm mostly waiting for SSB Melee and StarFox Adventures: Dinosuar Planet.

Has anyone else been keeping up with E3?

i hate nintendo, cept the old school stuff. i am soooo into old school nintendo (greatest game ever is probably graal though)

Out of all the first N64 Games, Star Fox tops the list. I mean, What can beat a flying fox with an attitude? Not I :)

i dont keep up with consoles and stuff. the last game i bought was tony hawks pro skater 2 like 6 months ago and the one before that was tony hawks pro skater 1 like a year b4 that. i mainly play silencer ( www.silencer.8k.com ), and graal.

Yes, I love StarFox too, and since Rare is alos working on it, we already know its going to be awsome. I love the graphics I've seen in the videos, you can download them somewhere from cube.ign.com. But I haven't seen or read anything about Falco yet. I hope he's still part of the team, Ive already seen Slippy and Peppy (and Fox ofcourse)

lol, i think a flying elephant would have been better, i beat Mario World 2 be fore i was in school. no joke, im into rpgs and stuuf, like Ultima IX Acsension, that game is sweet, if i da the money i would get Orgin Online

I just bought NHL Faceoff 2001 for Playstation 2 tonight and I have to admit, the game is just too fun. The skating hurts your thumb on that evil black pad, but it's one of the best I've played in a long time.

Oh, and I want to try Phantasy Start Online, ver 2. I never played ver 1 on DC, but I've heard alot of good stuff about it from friends.

I'm personally looking forward to Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Me too, that game is going to an ultimate multiplayer game. That's what I'm waiting for more than anything. The graphics on that are just plain awsome. I got a cool screenshot of Link in the opening for my desktop wallpaper :D

But FF3 (AKA FF6) IS THE BEST GAME EVER CREATED!! Next to uh the Pokiman games!!

i didnt like the first one, i think it rips of Mega Fighter for the sega saturn (lol with the fighting race cars, member that?)

Hmm, the screenshots look awesome, they are in a 3d format which will be better for evading and getting good attacks off. The new modes sound nice as well. I heard it was going to be a launch title, so I'm looking forward to that. =)

i beat mario 1 & 2 like in preschool, and got to level 99 on duck hunt, beat the legend of zelda when i was like 7, and beat mario 3 that same year. i also beat merlin's secret castle when i was 6.

I never played Saturn. Only Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure (both of which I love) on my friend's DreamCast. And now that Sega is making games for Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft, I hope they make some good Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi sequals.

Heh, I beat Mario 3 when I was around 4. If you knew where the secret extra life was you had it beaten. =) (At Bowser's Castle)

Al the articles I read said they are still keeping the basic 2-d character movement while making the levels 3d, basically is the same fighting game style as the first SSB.

o yea? well i beat Micholangelo's David at foozeball last year, then killed The Scream at it

mario 3 is superfun, but the lava world is really hard, it was pure luck i got through it. pows are superfun, i just played those over and over again with my friend. i like excitebike too, and the new excitebike for 64, but only soccer mode.

A while back you only need to be registered for a week before you could use an avatar or title, but then it was changed.

Damn, I hope IGN puts all the screenshots and video into one page soon. I'm tired of seeing screenshot of SSB or StarFox DP spread all of the place in about 20 different pages >.<
