I live in a ski resort, and I ski.
Since I ski more than snowboard, I guess I prefer skiing. And then, of course, there's a hill here where over 100 people a year get hurt sledding... the only good thing about the sled hill is the fact that it's right next to the hospital.

We need s a skiing game for 2001. Tyhm, care to make one? :)

Supposedly one was being worked on last month, but I think either it's still being worked on, was postponed, or is cancelled. I heard about:

Player-owned Condos
Skiing for Humans, Snowboarding for Bomys

and a few other things... hopefully, it'll actually happen.

I'm just thinking here of a game, you go downhill quickly, you can turn slightly, you have to dodge objects, and try to do stunts on ramps.

Blah, if we are going to have that I'm going to change the thing under my name to "Guy who crashes into trees"

you cant, lol, the only thing you can do is press F (cheat that makes you go faster) and run past it and pray to god that it doesn't catch you!

I am the one working on that, but I um lost the sheet to all the player condos. I had only done Sunshine Resort and almost had finished the mountains, and then I lost the paper to Powderhorn Lodge.

Can I have a player condo? :D

I've never skiid or snowboarded. There are no mountains in da ghettoz.

I do rollerblade and skateboard. I prefer rollerblading though.

yea, theres some neat little things you can do it, like if you find a dog and touch it sometimes it'll pee in the snow. you can press F to ski faster. and you can crash into other skiers and boarder. also if you jump over a tree it'll catch on fire =D

correction, if you jump over a leafless tree, it catches on fire

Actually, I now recall that skifree is a clone of an old arcade skiing game, so I'm not really stealing it, it was already stolen! :D

I was about to say...I could easily make a Graal version of SkiFree...if someone else did all the ganis...
It's supereasy, just have an essentially snow field, players advance from y=0 to y=30 when they begin, they stay there moving left to right dodging NPC "terrain", then after a while they advance past y=30 on down to y>60, where they warp to the next level at the bottom of the hill.

A Multiplayer skifree in which you won Gralat prizes for winning races would be fun.
