Night + Torch
 

I like the new night and torch system. MUCH darker when it hits about midnight and the torch is easier to see in the dark. Just when 2 people run accross each other the circle is about the size of the sun :)

yea its pretty cool but sometimes its too dark

:( My video card is too crappy for light effects, therefore when I play Graal, it is day 24/7... :(

Thats why u need the torch.. it makes the torch more handy and more realstic.. I suggested this awhile ago, they finally did it :)

lol, yea they fixed it so the light is easier to see whats behind it and it's larger.. It's actually cool, cuz at midnight you can hardly see yourself lol.

:megaeek: I can walk up to people at midnight and start shooting them with fireballs without them knowing who did it then! Woohoo! :rolleyes:

Torch? where can I aquire this torch, and bomys better be able to ****ing well use it.

My computer is the funniest thing. Sometimes the lighting effects work, other days it doesn't. Right now it doesn't, but I hope it will again somehow, soon...

Look at this. It boggles the mind. Yes, it's dark outside and it gets brighter, yes, I can see SOME lighting effects, but not the torches.. or the little lights on the street

Reading about bomys

Maybe they can use a speical techique from A Great bomy to teach them how to light up their shell like a firefly

It's kind of silly because now the lights around the world don't "light up the area" they just glow really bright.. the market for example, should be dimly lit, yet it's pitch black with a bunch of orange glowing lamps.. they don't illuminate enough.. and the torch looks really white looking now and doesn't look right.. fire isn't white :/

Now we need a ninja mask so that I can sneak around all dressed in black from head to toe :) then I can sneak up on people in the dark and kill them silently :}

The only thing they need to fix is, when you have the torch out it kind of deletes the night image around it so it is more bright instead of using lights or something.. i don't know how the night script works..
