Well since a lot of the playerworlds are starting to show more of their tileset stuff, I might as well show a little preview of the tiles I have made.

Remember this isn't finished.. there are still some fixes and adjustments to be made. Such as coloration, errors, etc. But for the most part, it's coming along pretty good.

I tried to include a lot of different tiles here. I still need to make trees and fix those bushes up, and also edit the inner dirt tiles, because those big reddish rocks don't fit in well. :)

Tell me what you think:

I'm never going to satisfy you. A few alterations? Please tell me where the small gray rocks are in the current tileset, please tell me where the water flowers or those bushes are in the current tileset.. please tell me how similar the cliff there looks compared to the current tileset. Please tell me how that grass is similar to the current tileset.

Please don't post negative things in my topics just because you have something against me. :(

edit: oh and my swamp looks nothing like the current swamp, and I have redone EVERYTHING.. a few alterations.. pfffttt...

mabye its just me but the bushes seem to blend into the grass too much...mabye u should make them stick out a bit more....but mabye thats just me x_x other then that it looks great

Gah..I'm sorry but that bush and flower is bad. :( Not trying to be mean but they bother me. >.< They just don't fit at all.

Actually, I LOVE THAT tileset for some reason. ****ing great!

the bushes: the normal 4 tile bush is good on top, but the seccond layer on the graphic, where it seems like 2 leavs on top of another, should be fixed just a bit, or else it will look bad when a bush is next to another bush.

Chest: Just lighten up the outline just a bit

"tall grass" the two tiles at the top left of the tile set: it needs to blend into the grass not have a stright line into it, it would look a bit bettter

Everything else is great!

(there is a small tile error on the top left of the clif, maybe tile error or graphical error)

I agree with Shad. There's no reason the flowers should be that big. :o

That kind of flower is supposed to look like that, yo!

Flowers on the ground should be smaller that that when he shows them.

Ok, why don't you look at the 2 screens. The your mountain tile is just like a textured version of the old. The grass just has an alteration to color, the water to pond is just altered color, same with sand to grass. The rest of the tiles could be made within a minute so I won't say anything about those...

Well, I like it fine. It works does it not? The tiles fit with there character. Everything isn't dirty *Cough* Murasamune *Cough*. There's a good color scheme and nothing looks too out of place. Keep up the good work. The only thing that really bothers me is the water flower, it's off perspective from the bush. That or the bush is off perspective from the flower.

P.S. No offence to Soulblade, It's just that you couldn't make out half the stuff in your old tileset. I like your future ones though.

It looks excellent. I love it how you've darkened everything in to make it look much more natural than the regular Graal tileset, such as the swamp, the bushes, the water and the rooshe (that little weed near the chest).

I think you should try and change the dirt though, maybe make it a little more grey-ish. But other than that, it looks excellent

Ne ways... the tiles are awsome , i dont see ne thing wrong with the water flower.

The more and more I see Soul Blade comment on anything about me, the more it sounds like he is jealous or something. I take criticsm just fine, I didn't mind what shadrock or the others said about what they "disliked" in the tileset, because they gave honest opinions and some told me what I could do to improve on the tiles.

I would love to see murusamune's new tileset.. that old one wasn't anything to brag about, but I'm not going to sit here and rag on your stuff just because I don't like you.

As a matter of fact, for your information, my tileset was meant to look like it had a Graal feel. None of those tiles would take within a minute to make.. maybe yours, but even my solid color water tiles took time to get good colors, etc.

I thank everyone else for giving their opinion and I will try to make the tiles that you noted better. :)

Jealous, I think not (I beg to differ). His set x20202020 of yours. Konidias he atleast went out of the way to create a totally new face for graal you just made graal2001 with some shading. Go back to the drawing board.

uh, the head is nothing like normal graal heads. it's far more anime-based. i like it a lot, but i prefer more realistic looking heads, and less happy looking ones.
