A few minutes ago, I saw The Mummy Returns. I thought it was a great movie, but some facts were untrue. Also, some of the traps (like at the beginning) were unbelievable. It was a great movie with humor, action, and drama. The special effects were great. The only thing that looked too much computer generated was the scorpion king (at the end of the movie). The acting in the movie was also great. Brendon Fraiser and the gang did a very good job on this film. The story is (You guessed it) great. Very in depth, and it makes actual sense. Wow!

My rating: 9.5/10 (-.5 for minor problems)
Go see it today or tomorrow! OR WHENEVER!

I like big budget special effects filled summer movies.

Some are very, very stupid (like Battlefield: Earth, one of two movies to get a -1 in film reviews in the newspaper here), and others are okay (Star Wars: Episode 1, Mission Impossible: 2), some are quite good. I'm hoping this will be the first to fall into the "Quite Good" category.

The Mummy Returns is one movie I won't go to, because the plotline is weak. Blah blah blah find ancient talisman from tomb. Reveal talisman to good guys who figure out it causes the doom of earth due to plauge/tidal wave/giant meteorite/aliens/curse etc. Really evil undead/alien/monster things attack city, people run around like *****s while screaming "HELP!". Guns turn out to be ineffective. (DUH!) Good guy goes back to tomb/spaceship/evil badguy lair, fights horrific evil bad guy leader, saves earth, movie ends, I barf.

Haha, The Rock says 3 words (which was gibberish in a different language) in the whole movie, and is in the movie for around 1 min and 30 sec and gets all this publicity.
