Well, I got on graal2002 I wasnt dissappointed but I wasnt impressed :( wasnt quite as good as I expected. I love the way you go faster when going down hills and stuff tho, so congrads to all the level makers involved.

I own Faheria you piece of ****. And Faheria has been updated OFFLINE, there are tons of things that are hidden from the public. But thanks for saying that, I'll make sure you don't get to see the released version of Faheria.

It was kind of laggy on my computer but it was still great. Insides weren't lagging at all.

BAHGAH FAHERIA OWNS (to the 10th power) graal 2002 archowl go the hell away. Wait till the day faheria dominates the world :p :) :D you will all be in utter shock.

Okay, my first impressions of Graal 2002...

THE GOOD

• Doesn't cost more money; free for current P2P accounts
• 3D levels and hand-drawn style graphics
• 3D minimaps are a nice touch
• Fun Quests
• Vast open land to explore and roleplay in
• Mining Axe doesn't break

THE BAD

• 3D levels are slower on older graphics cards
• New level editor
• New "Q" menu system not all that good or fast to use
• Difficult to attack and kill baddies; sword is very slow/awkward to use
• Helpless new players being attacked with no weapons to defend themselves
• Many NPCs available are the same as Graal 2001 versions
• Still too much stupid trading going on (now not just hats, swords too)
• Can hide under very small items like hats and keys
• Can be damaged when talking to NPCs (very annoying)
• No Pause (what if I need to leave my PC for a moment?)

THE UGLY

• Automap feature still maps incorrectly and makes discolored maps
• New baddie sprites (spiders and "golems")

That is just all off the top of my head, I'm sure I can think of more later

Considering i didnt wait for Graal 2002, i'll say yes, it was worth the wait. :) Did i like Graal 2002? Yes... but the sword is awful and i still wouldnt play because none of my other friends will(no p2p accounts). Will this save Graal from dying? I doubt it, I believe when Classic dies, Graal will die, and Stefan and Unixmad seem to be trying to kill Classic.

I wouldn't say they're trying to kill it so much as they're not going out of their way to support it. Classic is no longer the baby of the family, it's the teenager; G2K1's become the middle child. They have to split their time according to the needs of each; right now G2K2 needs their constant attention, much as I'd prefer Unixmad to fix the website...^___^

Ghost mode wasnt what Classic needed :(

Well worth the wait but I'll be waiting for the lag to calm down and probably wont play it until it come out for real. With out the newbies it'll be fantastic.

Extremely considering I've just RPed and never even bothered going for the sword. I spent like two minutes searching, than I just gave up and RPed

hmmm, my guess is that the sword is ackward because they don't want g2k2 to turn into a pk server. think about it

The bamboo pole is the best and rareist weapon on there.

It's much better than Graal2001. It was well worth the wait, even though I really didn't wait I guess. I like the new Q menu, except I've accidentally dropped stuff a few times.

G2K2 wasn't worth it, its too laggy and buggy, and to play on nother server, you have to uninstall the preview, and install 2.01 rev 3 again

That makes absolutely no sense. Graal survives off the money it earns from its P2P subscribers. Classic, a free server is made up of almost entirely non-paying users. Even if Classic were to "die" Cyberjouer's losses would be negligible.

And thank god they did so. To me, it seems that the vast majority of the "bads" are things I absolutely love, for the simple reason that it will keep the bulk of people who contributed greatly to 2k1's downfall from wanting to play the server. :p
