Sorry that you guys can't experience the fullness that G2K1 has to offer. Maybe you should consider upgrading your videocard. You can get a card capable of producing those effects pretty cheaply. Maybe $50 at the low end. Of course I would recommend a GeForce 3 but not everyone can afford a $600 card (not even me!) Hopefully I'll get one soon though.

The cheapest 3D card that I know of which does allow you to see the effects: RivaTNT

My current job isn't going to well, so I'm hoping to get a new one and maybe start a small business on the side to make extra cash. Cuz I still need to pay off my computer, then I want to get a good 3d card.

Sadly I am using a Riva TNT2 M64, one of the worst cards ever, it has plagued me to no end. I can't wait to upgrade. It does work in graal rather nicely though.

I have one of those too... But I never have any problems with anything, in the contrary everything works perfectly which doesn't work for some people with for example a voodoo 5 card.

the biggest problem with the M64 is that its so incredibly slow compared to the other TNT2 cards, its just a cheap card. But like I said, if someone needs a card only for Graal, it will do the job. It also works for me in Black & White fine, but with many other games it does not.

I can't see the screenshots because they are .png files =/. I must rescue my garden!

I have 64 ram right now and I just bought another so I have 128 now. I bought it for only 25 dollars.

zilithe ANY video card should be able to do that. Heck, I have an expensive GeForce video card and it handles other games fine, however, Graal crashes if I turn on DirectX7, which you need to see the lighting...

i could see the light effects, but i turned directx off because the effects are overrated.
