I just started playing Nexus again:-)
After a year and a half alot of new stuff.

I did play, then I just quit.

For those of us who do not play Nexus, can you tell us a little about it?

Its an online RP game set in ancient Korea. Of course it has magic and stuffs. Extreme Fun and Addiction!

I would play it, but I'm already paying for Everquest.

Well, what game is Nexus? I played a one where you start out with like either a girl or boy and then you start in a path and you have to kill squirlles and stuff for the Merchant to go to town.

Never tried Nexus, however, I have been playing Slayers lately. Its not that bad of a game, actually.

Diablo is the sorriest excuse for an "RPG" I've ever seen.

They tend to contain more class.

I like graal because there's no limit to what you can be or do with its resources. Diablo isn't even roleplaying.

Yeah. With Graal, you can have classes, or no classes.

You can have fights, peaceful areas, towns, missions, etc.

You can roleplay and other stuff. Diablo, its like: FINISH GAME

There's no room for fun.

I'd call it an action or adventure game.
It kind of bothers me that because your character can magically get stronger things are called "roleplaying games"
You're only playing a character you've been given.
Where's the fun in that?

Yeah, and being able to customize your character adds to the element of roleplaying.

You can be anything you want.

Anything at all. The only limit is yourself.

I got banned from Dark ages the first day I played it...

Nai, that is the same Nexus. It isn't free, it is only free for 10 days or until you reach lvl 11, then it is p2p.

It is really addictive, if anyone decides to join me, Lord Rooks(Leon Rookz), and Darwin (who is about to start playing again) please do.

Brady reregistered his old account, and was on for like 30 mintues and hasn't played since, for some unknown reasons.

Anyhow, my name on Nexus is XavierDark. If anyone is gonna register, make sure you nmail me(nmail is Nexus Mail) or pm me when I am on. I need to mentor a newbie, and when you turn lvl 6-8 I can cast a mentor spell on you, and help you lvl. I need Karma, and when you mentor newbies you get more karma.

Ive played Dark Ages since the Beta..Im a mastered Priest ;) Best Game ever..

They charge waaaaay too much for Nexon games, it costs more there for a month than to play everquest.

Bah. 10 dollars a month.

I'd rather play EQ or something like that.

EQ is a pretty good game. The people are nice. The gameworld is great. Except it's not for the casual gamer. You aren't going to be able to spend 1 hour leveling. You have to spend 4 hours leveling.

I used to play EQ, then I stopped and asked myself, "Why the hell are you playing this game!?" But Dark Ages costs 15 dollars a month, I find that stupid because when I played the trial I was so bored that I only played 2 days, they advertise all this RPing everywhere and you see people walking around with stupid non-RP names talking about things that have nothing to do with the plot.

Is it like Slayers where you can't do jack until you're at a certain level?

Like, Slayers you have to be at level 25 to do anything.

I'm not sure, never played Slayers, but walking around is so damn slow that my head was about to explode.
