I like the new trees (Bout time we got we got a change.) but I liked the old tileset a lot, especially the signs.

yeah, the trees are the only good thing that i like. especially the snow trees. :D

everything else, eh... except maybe for a few tiles here and there.

I use the old one because I prefer it, but I wouldn't say the new one is a piece of ****. Some of it looks really nice.

The pathway in the new tileset is hella better, the new trees aren't much better, they remove the classic graal feeling to graal

The reason why SOME people view the tileset like that, is because SOOOOMEBODY forgot to reset the addtiledefs for the new version on NewMain :rolleyes:

I think the new tiles look much better, they old ones
are not bad but were all made in less than a week,
and if you like them better nobody stops you using them :)

infact you should just do what i do
take my fav bits from each tileset and make your own
i have the new trees and roads, the old housing and signs, new table and chairs etc

then you get the best of both tilesets :)

Would you please post it for all the people who are either too lazy or don't have anything to do that with?

Yes, to tell you the truth, I didn't think they would be taking over the main set... and it took me less then a week to do the changes yes.

Maybe soon I will make a better tileset that replaces the whole thing.. my house tiles for that set work if you use them on a small default single house.. I never made the other house tiles, stefan added some things so the tileset would work completely.

If I could get some user input on things, I will work from that. :)

The new tileset gives Graal a more realistic look, just like they had back in the Middle Ages. I personally think the older one looked childish

I agree with Aftershock...looks more realistic. The trees don't look like they are made of plastic, they look like they are made out of carbon...rearrange them pixels on that house s'more, Konidias...

Personally i have had the new tileset for some time, i like it...
if you wanna see Doomsday looking really awesome than go on it with new tile set! its sweet!

One thing I don't like so far...

When making houses in the level editor, it's hard to get them to look how you want without there being minor errors in the 'bricks' because of the way they are set up. But it's not a huge problem, unless you meticulously examine every house you pass :-)

True, Zulithe...I'm not sure but I think Zol's Pub may have a tiling error on its exterior...

Yes, but if the majority of the people have the new tileset (because you had it automatically updated with 2.1), then it defeats the whole purpose since you arn't using the correct one. :(

The new tiles are horridly defective and ugly.

If you want a new tileset, start a poll. If everyone agrees, then I'll be more than happy to redo it for you.
