alright. so yes the account Fidel Castro is mine. yes marle is using it to post on the forums. this concerns me just a wee bit:

now i looked through the threads and didn't see that quote from stefan anywhere. so either its false or some thread that i missed was deleted?
First of all, if a sig with an image of a historical figure with marle's name is illegal, i know she will remove it. even if that rule makes no sense at all.
Second, if that account name (Fidel Castro) is illegal, you've got a little bit of explaining to do Stefan. After complaining about account problems (the account annr) to hrm.... 6 graal online staff, i finally met up with james. to make a long story short, he didn't know it was my p2p one since i was on classic (the problem was with classic) and deleted it so he could remake it. well oops, since it was deleted, it was no longer p2p. btw, even remaking the account didn't fix the problem.
After all this happened he allowed me to pick a brand new account, even with a neato space. I picked Fidel Castro, it was made, then i emailed you sir to upgrade it. You did, even if it was only until oct (i could of sworn my euro ticket said i signed up for a year, i feel so ripped off.). lets not forget how nothing of mine was replaced on g2k1. wah wah wah.
So if this account is illegal, why are you saying this now? Why couldn't you of said something when YOU upgraded it? I am just curious. And really, I wouldn't want to have ANOTHER p2p account of mine deleted just to work for everything i have again. Wait no, i wouldn't even bother, i wouldn't even bother getting a new account. and i would have to pass this on....

I don't find it offensive, since it is simply a picture of hilter with Marle's name on it. If it was "advertising" his ideals, then I would find it offensive. Do you refuse to learn about World War II, because it talks about, and shows a picture of Hitler? Of course you don't, it's folly, such as this is. Like I said, if you do not like the signature, then turn off the "show signature" button, in your vB options. Or put her on ignore, both would prevent you from seeing this "offensive" image.

Here's my theory on what happened.

Stefan got an email from anna to update the account.

Without thinking, as usual (good old Stefan), he updated it. Not noticing that it said Fidel Castro.

Or, rather, he noticed, but didn't care.

Then, he sees marle's signature.

His hatred towards people who bring up Hitler comes forth, considering the countless times he's been called Hitler, Nazi, or just a German bastard or something.

He figures that's one good reason to internet-stab anna. Then, he notices the account name.

Stefan: ACH! MEIN ACCOUNT NAMEN!

Boom. Two "good reasons" to be mean.

I don't see what is wrong with having an account like "Fidel Castro" because some other account-using services just don't cancel you out and take away your money, or just cancel it just because you have the name of a "Famous" person; The sig, i agree, is bad. :(. An account like "Bill Clinton" or "George Bush" or whatever, i agree, would be bad.

Hey, what about Ronald McDonald?
I belive there is a quest on Classic(or use to be) where Ronald McDonald would let you past a doorway to get a heart.

Yup, he spelled it wrong. Prince Vlad(imir) Draculea III, the voivode of Wallachia in the 1430-1470's...I'm an expert on Dracula/vampire mythos. :)

Well, it all depends on the history books and which version of his name you read. Vlad Dracul II, his father, was a definite "Dracul". There are speculations as to Dracula's actual last name. "Draculea" is what is seen most often in Romanian history books, I think, and it can roughly be translated as "Son of the Dragon" or "Son of the Devil", and that sort of fits in the first sense as Dracula was a member of the Order of the Dragon, a Templarist Knight thing...if I recall. I'm a bit rusty. :D

Alright... Hulk Hogan is not the real name of any person, so there's no reason Lamer shouldn't be able to use that account.

The real issue at hand is that Fidel Castro is a controversial person and an important world figure. Stalin is similarly a controversial person even if he is dead. Napolean, on the other hand, is not very controversial. (Unless you're a fanatic of some kind...)

So the real fact of the matter is, it's a judgement call. And like all things Graal, the judgement lies in the owners. So give it a rest.

i'm not sure i understand this comment.
Then why did you upgrade it, and why did YOUR staff create it?
What kind of business lets the staff create illegal (that actually aren't, since i'm in no way impersonating fidel castro) names for money then turn around and say they are illegal?
Just the fact that i paid for this(well actually no i paid for annr...hrmmmmmmmm) frightens me, I hope in the future a little more common sense is used if money is going to continue to exchange.


And Dante, I can't believe you said 'give it a rest'. You try paying for something and have it deleted then get ripped off, and learn that your account is illegal even though it isn't.
