I'm using Home Premium, and My graal hasnt really crashed lately, though it does on very rare occasion

I've mentioned it before (as have others,) but Vista seems to have some issue with fmod (sound driver) that comes packaged with Graal which can cause the client to crash immediately. Playing music in Winamp or Windows Media Player helps for me.

I have all the music off on Graal. Would the sound effects be used through the fmod because that's all I use.

Hmm...does anyone know when the next version of Graal will be released for Vista :p

When I shut off the Level Editor i get thousands of errors too. thought you'd might like to know....

Yeah same, and when I downloaded it, it had errors. I had to get base.dll from my other computer. RC works perfect though, just couldn't download that either, had to get someone to send me that through msn.

we've already solved this problem for windows vista...

right-click on graal (or graal editor), go to properties, check the boxes: "Disable visual themes" and "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" and "Run this program as an administrator"

i cant even click start now , and oh btw everytime i exit my graal, a message pops up saying " Runtime Error 216 at 00005C26"

None of that fixes my issues that I've explained several times in this thread. Plus, I shouldn't have to do any of that to play graal. I don't need to do this with any other program I run, even though most of my programs have recently become Vista compatible.

Most of the time I just get kicked off randomly but I also get kicked whenever I click a link, so I just highlight it and copy it, but sometimes I accidentally click it :whatever:

vista was released on jan 30th I think.. its july 10th now so its been 6 months or so since it came out.. and still no graal for vista. So half a year and still nothing :( I have stopped playing graal because of this. I log on for like 5 minutes maybe every 2 weeks?

One thing i'm starting to notice though that it's getting a little kiddy like. :[ Makes me sad.

Like how the new developer system can easily kill inactive server development. In the end it's just a waste, so nice move there.

Well I'm happy no matter what. The only update I was really looking forward to is the Vista compatibility. Everything else is just a big ol' plus!

What frustrated me about the whole Vista thing is that everyone expected Linux Cyberjouers to whack out a Vista version as soon as the retail release of Vista came out.

It's nice to see people have grown patience. And hey, I guess it's paying off.
