And, leave the background for the sun black. It makes a nice contrast with the bright colors of the object. Any background would just detract from it.

Yes well, unless other people start posting their stuff here again, this will be my last post in this thread, and I will allow it to die.
It's been a nice run, and there's been a lot of good things, but it's quite far away from the size that the original reached. The point at the beginning was to have a thread where people could post what they've done, and see things others have done, without having to have about 15 bajillion threads with people only posting one thing in each one. Gonmon, Tinman, KawaiiSaRia, and many other talented artists have gone through this thread and it's predecessor.

Anyway, in what could quite possibly be my final post in this thread, I have Shawna, dressed for her wedding, in a dress she made herself.

It looks nice, and it's better than I could do if I picked up a brush and tried anything. The sky is good with the sunset look. My only concern is that the poor ship looks pretty much doomed. ^.~

I've been getting into drawing a lot more lately. Perhaps later, since I don't have a scanner, I'll take a picture of it with my brother's digital camera.

I can make out the first one, but the second one I can't tell what it is at all...^.^;;

An unfinished character I'm drawing. It's in crappy quality (I guess the camera was moving a little much when I took the picture) and I just started to draw.

constructive criticism : the legs are a lil thick..

Skin-tight clothing, and besides, I don't want to draw a flat-chested woman, but I also don't want to draw one with beach-ball breasts.
I'm only really done the torso. The legs, and expecially the feet will be refined and corrected. As to the head, I'm not looking forward to that. I always make them lopsided in some way. ;)
