Maybe it's just me, but I am really tired of hearing about this incident. Yes, it was big. You can't prevent what has been done, go on with your lives, let the government handle the retaliation. People stayed home from work today, for no reason, but with an excuse. All channels are broadcasting news on this 24 hours a day. You cannot hold a conversation with someone in real life without having to say something about the plane crashes. It is quite annoying...

I don't enjoy hearing the same things for days, sorry. Do you? Sure, people died, mourning will not bring them back. If someone close to you was killed, go mourn, but a lot of people are making "memorials" because they think "it's the right thing to do." America needs to go on with their lives now.

It's an annoyance. I did not wish for them to die, but I also do not wish to hear of them dieing for days upon days. If someone close to me died, I'd go to the funeral and pay respects, of course. And yes, I would feel the same if they had died. It's not memorializing anyone specific...the news isn't pointing anyone specific out either. The press is just reporting the same stuff over and over. Even replaying footage 10 times. It's old.

That reminds me of this one time I recieved a letter from a student ambassador program. They wanted me to go to Wales for a summer for my "outstanding achievements" in school. I knew it had to be fake, I have a 2.2 grade point average and do not attend any extra cirricular activities. Back to the point of why it reminds me of this. I showed the letter to my father and he said "Nah, I don't want you going out there. The paparazzi are there."...I started laughing so hard. He thought they were a mafia or something because the paparazzi chased Princess Diana and accidently killed her (via crashing). When I stopped laughing, I told him that they were just like the press/media only taking photographs.

You seem to be just another one of those people that have no reason to be all sensitive towards the matter, but are because a lot of others are and hope to fit in with them because of your "righteousness".

Also, I believe that it is quite sad that 250 people cannot overtake 3 men with knives. I am ashamed of Americans.

I don't really care if people mourn over this. I will not. Many others die every day and we do not mourn over them. If you knew them, that's great, mourn. If not, why do it? Do you mourn for the people who die from A.I.D.s every day? The Ebola virus? The people who die from Ebola die a much worse, longer death than these people did. Yet, no one mourns for those poor, unfortunate people.

if they didn't want any sort of military reaction they wouldn't have done it in the first places you idiot. if they hit the white house then pentagon, that would have been war. it would have been very hard to get air force one, so that's out of the question. attacking world trade center was just one of the ways to elicit a warlike reaction.

Any death is worth mourning,Life is precious and fleeting and to have it cut short by anything is an injustice to all mankind.Yet to be insenitive to a fellow mans suffering of any kind is not a good trait for someone to have.You my friend; do not seem to know the gravity of what is going on, America has never shut itself down like it did on 9-11-01
this situations is very serious and a threat to your freedom and what we as Americans live and die for.It is evident that you were not alive in the 50's 60's or 70's when we were at war , and the cold war was very much alive,even then something like this has never happened and America shutting her air space down.This is a National state of emergency,so take care my friend a day may come when all the freedoms you enjoy now may be taken away by people like you who are insensitive to other peoples rights and liberities.Hopefully that day will never come but it is a possiblity and I hope your children will never have to see it. :(

Because for the simple fact it concerns all and affects all who live in the USA.It will change many things in our way of life ;things cannot go on "as usual " because of this; change has to come for the protection of its people who live here.Or maybe because your are only 15 and do not understand the ramifications

The only way it affects all of us is the destruction of thw World Trade Center and that we have to build another. Do you know what I am seeing on FOX right now? I know it's sad that their family member is gone now, but why broadcast it on the television? The person is more than likely dead. Forget the millions of other who die in much worse tragedies. They would need numbers to do these. Some were cowards, like canadians for instance, and some are so fearful they didn't do anything....

They were also threatning them with a bomb, and I don't think they had any knowledge of the terrorists intent...and if they did I'm sure some would do something about it. Also, some may have tryed to do something, and may have been killed...only in numbers could you overcome that, and in fear people don't think smartly...

So don't say anything bad about them, everyone has reasons...

Would you like to know why?

1) America has ALWAYS been a secure and safe place to live, this has broken that security, and it frightens many, just like the missile crisis and when they feared nuclear war.

2) It shows that violence is a real thing, violence which most people in America has never seen, also something to be scared about.

3) The fact that something like this could happen to them

4) Just thinking about the thousands of unexpected deaths, the families destroyed, the children who will wake up without a father/mother/both.

I could go on forever but you get my point.

Yes exactly. After all the years, we still have days to respect people who faught for our freedom, who died for our freedom....people who did great things to make this a better place. That may not be the case here, but its just as big. This isn't something to celebrate, its something mourn over.
