Contego has a problem with banning staff instead of taking away rights or tags.. it's either because he is lazy, or likes to use his power to ban.

I mean, seriously. He bans alkaren and birdbird for arguing with him? WTF?

That's about as bad as Antago disconnecting me from RC when I was arguing with him, me getting back on, someone disconnecting him for disconnecting me, and then he gets back on and says "don't you ever disconnect me again" :rolleyes:

That was the funniest moment I ever had when I had rc on 2k1.

And Alkaren wasn't banned? A hacker was on his account earlier around 6:00 PM EST and SK banned it to stop the hacker....

I've read the RC chat log that started this whole shabang. I saw many issues broght up. Rather than of placing blame or detailing "what I think should be done", I will say this. Let Unixmad do his thing, then we can decide if it is for better or for worse. There's absolutely no point arguing over it when the decision has already been made. It's time to sit back and watch. for those of you who lost your access, take a well diserved break from Graal. Go outside, get some ice cream, have a normal life even if it is only for a few days :p

I don't see why you guys complain about PMs...
When I log on RC, I get about 5 PMs because I don't have my tag on yet, because my Graal is loading. When I check Graal, I have about 10 PMs. I answer every single one of them. While I am answering those, more are coming. There are so many flags on Classic, that opening up an account with like 5 hearts can easily freeze my RC. Most of the PMs are saying "hi", and so I say hi back. Get the point?

I dont seem to get alot of pm's....

I guess maybe since people know who has FTP and who doesn't by now they know who to ask to get what they want....

I get 20 pms a mintue on rc, and also in game the same amount. I can;t really play graal.

I get pm'd alot and I am just a player. :p

Ugh one day I am gone and hell breaks loose. Luckily I was the only one who was spared and have my global still and unbanned Birdbird ;)

We need a charter saying who can hire/fire who. I like the LAT one: People are only hired during a publically announced hiring period by a majority vote, anyone can try to fire anyone else by starting a firing vote, 2/3 majority needed to do it. EXCEPTIONS go through Stefan and Unixmad. I've never had to get my staff changes approved - even if I'm being a biased bastard, I get one vote and the tiebreaker, that's hardly enough to screw up the whole process.

It's when the FAQ Admin is replaced overnight by a former civilian or L4 RCs are given to brand-spanking-new admin positions that there's a problem. And GP hiring, wts? "We'll hire you when we feel like it based on who we feel we can trust?" I hope that's been revised...

What are you questioning? The part where you got the list, or you telling contego i was uncooperative?

I think it's possible that you're talking about me with the fireworks. If so:

Please learn to follow the see->think->act cycle. Skipping the middle part just leads to hiccups like this one. Yes, I have fireworks that are restricted from normal players and yes, that's because I made them. But you think that's all the story?

In a few days there'll be a shop added to sell them. Everybody will be able to use them if they simply pay to buy them. So in reality I'm just allowed to use them in the meantime, which doesn't seem unfair since I spent the time to make the damn things. Besides, what harm am I doing?

finally maybe this will heal the power strugles once they realize its all for nothing

i agree with this.

unixmad wont even talk to me, aside a rude remark about me being a free server and how I dont diserve help because of it.

but he will do as contego says, and take into serious consideration otherwise.

I totaly support what contego does. I do not always like it, but I support it.
