Lycia, are you the most power-hungry person alive? I mean, seriously, you want every power position available, then when you get bored with it, you just quit. For God's sakes, let someone who's ACTUALLY qualified have a shot at it, rather than someone who begs and connives their way to the top. I believe Alkaren has the most qualifications, and TrueHeaT would have the most dedication. Both of them should run for mod-ship.

That is all good in an ideal situation, but the way staff are hired is sickening! It is simply friend hires friend hires friend. Something like this would pump fresh blood into the staff...

Anyways, the person who is the best at the job is rarely hired in the first place, unless he is a friend of one of the staff. And from what I've seen, graal has been picking the worst possible staff. Hell, my way of hiring staff was better, I would go on an alternate account posing as a newbie, and whoever was the first to help me got a high-end job...of course, I would ask one of the RCs to check the accounts comments and check if the player had been banned or jailed or anything...and if so, I wouldn't hire him...

After reading the 150+ posts in this thread (Yes, I read them all, though I can only remember about 75% of them now) I have to say that personally, I think Alkyren (sp? Sorry :( ) would be good at it. I don't have anything against Lycia, as I have never talked to her, or seen her on Graal, nor had any contact with her.

As to the claims about her modding the Events forums, I have never been there for more than 2 minutes at a time, so I haven't any idea if those claims are justifiable.

I wouldn't mind if Alkyren became a mod, super mod, or admin on the boards - from what I have seen of his posts he would do a good job of it.
