There were even global admins which are 14 years old, so that argument of age is not really true. It is true however that older people often stay longer in their position, which is probably normal because younger people have to leave their home, find a work etc. for the first time in their life.

How is that statement incorrect? It doesn't say the majority are young teenagers, or even that most of the userbase are teenagers. It is just a reminder that a lot of young teenagers do play this game.

I was thinking the same thing. Sam hasn't done this poll as he is on vacation. I am confused as well. Maybe the other poll like this done a little while ago?

Don't care, I don't appreciate stuff getting uploaded over my head under Any circumstances, particularly not quest-vital items such as fullhearts, L3swords, and the nukeshot-or-equivalent. Nor boots that (despite angry insistence the wallcheck was perfect) let you walk through walls. Nor a trident that (despite even angrier claims that Stefan would fire me if I tried to edit the code) would place bush-stumps over walls and let people bypass entire quests. I will be 23 next month. I was I think 14 or 15 when I started graal though.

I'm glad this poll got a lot of voters. It proves at least somewhat that the majority of at least the forumgoers are 18 or older. (even if a handful of people lied)

Maybe we'll get lucky and the staff/administration who think that the majority of Graal are young teens will change their opinion. It's worth a shot anyway. (and yes Darlene, that's what was implied in that line from the rules, it was just worded poorly) Even if it was actually worded to say that "a lot" of Graal's userbase are young teenagers, I think the results of this poll at least bring up a valid argument to the contrary.

In fact, it's safe to assume that they fall in the same age range as the posters who voted. I mean logic will tell you that if the majority of the people who voted are 18 or over, then the majority of people who haven't voted are most likely also 18 or over.

Why do you think people get away with those "the american public" polls? They poll like 3000 people over the phone. I would hardly consider that everyone in North America. But they are allowed to poll so few people because you're getting a general idea with those numbers.

This is not like voting for the president where one state might be filled with democrats. This is a community of people interested in Graal. The majority of the community falls into a specific age group, and that age group is not "young teens".

I don't see how it can be made any more clear. Other than literally verifying everyone's age.

Just because Graal is aimed towards young teens doesn't mean just young teens play the game or frequent the forums. Most of the people I've met are 16 or older.
