and if you have any problems with why it was gone just ask stefan i did not remove it

I like them so now stefan can add a newbie money giver thingy without people abusing it.

I was wondering, can you use your RC on servers other then that? Just wondering.

I can use it on Providence, since Tyne added my IP and such, but the GPCP needs to fixed, but the only way we can use it on other servers is if the owner adds our IP's to the list

when you have adminworld=all
your ip has to be listed in the global cp
even if it's listed in local ftp, it wont work

most of the whole staff doesn't even need RC

Uhm, obviously that is lag considering the screen is all blurry and why would i take time to find out that f and y just to be on top of a non walkable tile?

why do you have to complain? are you jealous? I think you are, and anyway, merlin likes to use his power and so do ALL the admin's, even stefan. And I agree that there are RC's that aren't needed, but please stop having a fit because you don't have it

I dont want RC on g2k1 I want RC on a PW PWs are so much more fun to use RCs on, you can do things that you wouldnt be able to do on Strict p2ps

Well, I like them, and then I don't. The bad thing about them is that they are not there for you all the time, while the ARS webscrit was a 24/7 thing. The good thing about them is that you don't lose some vital stats when you get reset. :-D

Just posting to clear a few things up.

Reasons the Account Recovery Team is needed:
-No ARS anymore.
--People were using it to get unbanned/out of jail.
--When the mirror goes down the ARS stopped working, and the mirror goes down a bit too much..
-Not every admin with RC, has level 3 RC which is needed to reset.
--We can't give say, the FAQ chief of 2001, level 3 RC to be resetting accounts, only a few admins have the required level, most with that high a level are also very busy.
-We can't just have any admin resetting accounts.
--There is no way just any admin can reset accounts, people eventually someone wouldn't have wanted to lose everything and try to blame the person that reset the account, thus causing a bother for the Gaming Officers and myself.
-Time.
--Many of you seem to think that it's a simple click of a mouse to reset an account; well there is a bit more too it, I would often be asked something like "can you hold my items and gralat for me" and when I am on the RC, it's usually to be doing something specific and I don't have a lot of time, so I reply with "Sorry, I am not on graal right now, shortly I will be able to possibly" or something along those lines. Anyway, a lot of players don't understand what RC is, they reply with "what do you mean? You are on right now and Iam talking to you." To shorten this up, I'm saying that there is a lot more to holding items and answering questions than you may think, the ART has been a great help over the last few days.

I know that aprt, but that is combined. And I'm not just referring to Graal 2001, I am also referring to Classic, which you are only on either 2001 or Classic at once. And a lot of people aren't on when you or Valder are on, and you know what that means=angry customers.

why hold the stuff when you can just open up their attributes, delete some flags and useless weps, and warp em to onlinestartlocal?

and shady due to mirror problems/cp problems we are un able to connect to classic until stefan adds our ips to the cp

I dunno about you, but my clip board can only hold so much, and I don't have the time to open up editplus and copy and paste a bunch of info. It's just so much easier having another team to do it.

we are able to log on classic and new main rc at the same time but not until the cp is fixed

i can connect to both server's with my RC at the same time, it may be laggy, but it get's the job done

I'm not sure, but I think all the reset feature does is remove money, flags, weps, fills all chests, sets to newbie character looks and warps them to onlinestartlocal. You could do all that by hand, except skip a few weps/items.

and that would take so much longer
why bother when the feature is there?

I'd think it'd be easier then having to physically hold the stuff..
