Well, Konidias really shouldn't be making fun of other PWs. He should be working on his own. From what I think, Konidias thinks he has the right to make fun of other's work because of the popularity that his server is getting. So he get's the feeling that he can go around and bash other people's playerworlds. Not everyone is going to be on your level when it comes to creativity and skill, Konidias. They paid for these servers so that they can contribute to this game, not to get picked on by others. If your playerworld was less than mediocre, Konidias, and everyone poked fun of it and called it a piece of crap that had no thought put into it, and they hated it as much as they hated these playerworlds, how would YOU feel?

I don't see how people are kissing his ass. His playerworld is really nice, and people like him because of his ability to be able to do things of that such. I think he has a good attitude, even though you might not think so, and he would be a good idle to look up to say if you were a beginning developer.

I never said you did. I'm not accusing anyone of 'kissing' his ass. I'm just saying that people think that giving someone credit and always agreeing with what they have to say or think always mean that there kissing there asses. Not everyone does this to just earn respect from that individual. Maybe, you know, they just like him?

I post the way I do a lot of times because of what I have knowledge of. Most of the time its to get more information to make the "picture" more complete so that not only I know but everyone else that pays attention will know as well. I know it may seem like I play favorites with certain people in particular, but I usually don't.

I can relate to this. I try to read everyone's posts, make out as much information as I can, and then I posts my thoughts. I try to be neutral as much as I can. These forums are starting to go out of control, and I'm trying my best to solve people's problems without trying to cause more flame wars. I know, it looks like I'm trying to play hero, and I hate to do it (since I'm more of a troll rather than someone who would actually try to help people :p ) but no one is trying to help to save these kind of things.

Okay, first off, I don't think I'm the greatest person of all time, nor do I think my playerworld will never be surpassed. I'm simply making a joke thread, based on some of the bad descriptions I read. You have to admit, they are bad descriptions. It's not like you have to have a college degree in writing or literature or whatever, in order to poke fun of badly written sentences.

If my playerworld was mediocre, I would make it better. This isn't like drawing artwork, you're making a game (well sort of). You hire people to help with the stuff that you can't do well. I needed help with some scripting, I got it. Otherwise, my scripts would be mediocre. I don't think Oasis is popular at all. Yes there are people that seem to be anticipating it, but really, I have little to no support in the development area.

Gyoshi has absolutely no reason to suck up to me. I don't do anything for him at all really, and he's not getting anything out of being nice to me.

Tyrial has this funny way of looking things. If people take his side, then they are right, if people take my side, then they are asskissers. If everyone was taking Tyrial's side, he sure as hell wouldn't be arguing.

I never said you were the greatest person of all time, nor did I say the same to your playerworld. Nonetheless if there spelling is bad or not, it doesn't put you in a position to make fun of them. They are probably working as hard as you are, even though there typing skills may be not up to par and there development skill are poor, it doesn't give you the right to make fun of them because of how bad they type. Tyrial thinks everyone is against him on the forums, so he tries to prove that you also copied off of some games (even though this may be false) to see if people would agree with him, which in this case didn't work out very well. Because of how poorly thought out this idea was (in this case trying to frame you), he got what was comming for him. Now he thinks that everyone is going to be on your side, no matter what he does. If his playerworld was mediocre, or in this case riddled of stolen ideas, then he should remake it to the point that it looks like he didn't steal anything. This is what I've been trying to tell him the entire time. None of this would be happening right now if he took the time to act mature and fix what causing all of this crap.

Why would they need to? There in a stage of development where they could probably care less wether or not there description sucks. I'm sure they have better things to do than to make there description of some playerworld listing look all pretty and nice. It's one of those things that really doesn't effect the overall development of one's server. If they wanted to fill in a description good enough to beef up there playerworld, I'm sure they would have a better description then the ones they have currently. You have to give them at least a chance.

You still didn't describe why he doesn't have the right to laugh at it. You only explained that they probably don't want to take the time to redo their server description and correct the spelling errors. Don't quote someone unless you are going to reply to what they actually asked.

He may laugh at it now, but those servers that he's laughing at could make a sudden turn and boost upwards in terms of development and actually turn out to be worth while servers. Then he'd regret laughing at them in the first place, wouldn't he? Just because I didn't answer his question right there and now makes a stupid reason why I shouldn't quote him and talk to him about other matters.

True. But you never really know. You can't say that for granted unless you can prove that's what he's really thinking. I can't take my word for granted, either. For all I care, everything I could be talking about could easily be proven wrong.

First of all, are you even laughing at them? Because in that case I think you have the right to, but I still don't think it's right. If you were sitting in there shoes, how would you feel if someone laughed at your description of your server? You wouldn't want to be annoyed by such a small inconvience, would you?

He thought it was funny and so did a few other people. They didn't take time to put a decent description online so they are subject to critisizm. That's the way things work.
