That would be very good.

Tiki, if you delete guilds that have less than 10 members, why don't you delete that dumb Sea Monkey Admin guild? :P

Before, it was up in the high 100's to 140's. Lately, it's only been in the high 80's. Management has nothing to do with players coming back, it's just that Graal2002is so boring at it's current state.

It's INEVITABLE. Have you watched any current MMORPG trends?

Look at Dark Age of Camelot, for example. When it came out, the servers peaked at 40K players daily. Now? Possibly 23K in the afternoons. It's "shiny new toy" syndrome.

No its not the same, the decline was sudden after p2p
graal was on an incline for over 3 years

P2P graal hasn't existed for over 3 years.

VampiricTutorNewHD 07-10-2002 10:57 PM

He's saying graal grew over 3 years and p2p killed it.

My mistake, it was badly worded.

And how has it "killed" it? I still see 400+ people gathering every single day on graal, perhaps more.

400 is NOTHING compared to the old 2000 to 4000.

Graal had 2000-4000 people on daily?

Save some of that marijuana for me.

Me Too. I don't ever remember a time when there were over 1500 people on at the same time.

Falcor 07-11-2002 01:05 PM

I think at any one time, there were only about 500 or so people online (on graal as a whole) tops....

500 is the largest I've seen, yes.

Amagius 07-11-2002 01:25 PM

The highest I've seen is 900.

Sparkplug 07-11-2002 01:27 PM

When i took a screen shot of the site once for a dumb reason
there were 450 online
and that was early morning.....

Birdbird_0 07-11-2002 01:37 PM

I miss working with loriel, I actualy had fun working on 2k1 back then, when I became manager, I lost my "spark" that allowed me to enjoy working on 2k1, it peaked at 190 players right before 2k2 was released, than 2k1 died, its comming back slowly now, but, I don't like the server much anymore, nor can I play it. When you become an admin just working, you don't care about money or hats, simply because you don't need them, I don't know about the other staff, but when I became staff, I gave up being a player, and I don't like that.

In my opinyon, 2k1 is doomed, it needs a reset, I don't care how many people quit or complain about their hard erned things, it will be more fun collecting those things back, and thats a word to the wise from experance.

Okay, maybe it wasn't 2000-4000 DAILY, but it was around 1300+, and 2000 some times.

It was an exaggeration.

I saw the playersonline counter on the site. :(

ZanderX 07-11-2002 02:28 PM

On a side note, I've made a decision about the bomy I so love.

I'm going to build it a shrine and remove it from my account. And no one will have it. ;X

Oh so you take your beloved bomy, coruptly buy it which most have gotten over... now you're DELTEING it all together...

Good plan, i hope they don't tie you too tightly to the flaming stake :o

Kaimetsu 07-11-2002 03:08 PM

HI

What the hell is wrong with deleting a guild with an offensive name? What, Lithuanians don't deserve the same protection from offense that Americans do? And what's wrong with Tiki taking an authoritative stance? He doesn't have to answer to Minoc; if somebody has a problem with him then they should address it to his superior.

HoudiniMan 07-11-2002 03:15 PM

Who is his superior? Nemesis? Unixmad? Stefan? Oh yeah i get responses from the all the time
