I call people by their in game name and if I don't know it I try to avoid saying their name in my reply just working around it so they know I'm talking to them. :)

I don think we should base the staff picks entierly on this. Somone who has alot may be total crap, while someone without a whole lot might be... Good? well, jsut sayin... personality, skill etc count.

Perhaps so, but isn't it the Graphics Admin's job to choose graphics that best fit the server? We don't need sub-admins like 'Heads Admin' and 'Bodies Admin' and '16x16 Images Admin' because one person can, theoretically, do the job of all three.

look, not just anyone can walk up, say here's a bomy, and get it in. Bomies have a history, and i'd for one not like to see that spoiled and such with strange and demented looking bomies rolling around (that robot beetle one is a disgrace). And actually, if you'd like to get technical, I also create stuff for them also, such as Zalactic Labs. it's not just choosing images, it's making stuff for the race.

Oh well, since the addition of member ratings is going to make me do a lot of regrettable things. Not because I want to be staff, but because I want to have a rating as high as everyone elses, I'll do the one thing I know I will regret the MOST right now.

I think it would be like better if we use stars instead of the hp bar thingy cuase it's confusing to read

But there not baseing it on what the person can do but more how "cool" or nice the person is to them. Even though staff should be nice to players you can be mean and hated through graal but still be good at levels... and people won't judge you on that.

Sorry unixmad this system isn't going to work, if you piss somebody off by saying something conderdictory to what someone else said, they'ed place a bad vote on you. If you liked playstation and they liked nintendo then they'ed place a bad vote on you, if you don't vote them for something like (NGRT MOD), they'ed place a bad vote on you.

If nothing else, it's a nice tool to see right off if people are generaly nice, or ________'s

Actually, maybe I'm going about this rating thing the wrong way, instead of name-droping, I'll try to laugh at the system. I'll see if I can get rating "trades" to go on.

Heh, how convienient, stuff like this is already happening in the NGRT, so at the end of the day, Unix will have all his nice little ratings and they will mean nothing at all.
