When farming was the easiest way to make money, there were no higher risks involved.

Mining - 80g per hour (minus PKing attempts)
Fishing - 1g per hour :p
Pearl diving - 100g per hour (if there are no other people)
PKing - 60g per hour (if you know how to defend yourself)
Abusing the economy - 10k per month :P
