I had an idea awhile ago. Lets say there is an entrance to a cave that is block of with rocks. We could go to someone who makes bombs and put them on the kart that can be pulled by a horse. When you arrive you can carry the bomb to the front and light up the bomb, but of course you'd need a tourch or a source of fire.

Money is cool on 2k2 because it still is fun to buy things off people but people most-likely won't because they can make it themselves for free with just a little work!

I Think that jobs need to have skill points, you have say 10 points, and the more you do a certain job the more points get in it, but if you do say 3 jobs evenly, woodcutting, mining and like hunting your 10 points get split, so doing one job would work, because it would get your 10 points in the 1 job, encouraging people to stick to 1 trade rather than all of them, like miner sells iron and gold to blacksmiths, Woodcutter sells planks to crafter. etc.

why? 2k2 seems to be doing fine right now, it has no point for money. It's good that way.

Figure out a way to let me play on 2002 and then I will tell you my opinion of it.

I think Graal would be cool without economic competition, but if there were no gralats, people would just collect a ton of ore, or a ton of hats; anything to show how much better they are than everyone else. Well, let them do as they will: Have fun outside of game mechanics, ey?

How about aberiginies (sp) that attack you if you land on their island O.o!

It's not that they have more, it's that many people cannot do what they want because they lack the money.
That wouldn't happen if money didn't exist..they'd just have to find out what they have to do to obtain the item. Then go do that job or chain of jobs to get that item.

People don't get gralats to get items. They get it as a status symbol. Do you think anyone on classic needs 30000 extra gralats? Of course not. It's not the money that's the problem: It's the need for status. And gralats or not, people will always find a status symbol, and they'll end up exploiting that symbol in the same way as gralats.
