Anyways, the California "lizard man" is supposed to be a dinosaur that somehow survived the metoer or the flood or the volcano or the dino fart and now lives in the bogs of california.
He's roughly 8 feet tall, sharp talons, stout beak, long tail. Plenty of tracks, weird sounds.

Which reminds me about bigfoot.

fugitive316 04-16-2001 12:35 PM

Gah. I got to page 5 and my speakers went haywire as I was reading. That was enough for me. One guy said something to the effect of " if you dont know whats out there, dont look" Im taking that advice.

Ignorance is bliss.

I did laugh when the one guy said some gang was trying to steal his rabbit haha.

whoah....now that just freaked me the **** out.

04-16-2001 12:36 PM

Listening to something is a 10ft. higher step of freakyness than reading it...

Do you have any pictures of it?

freddyfox 04-16-2001 12:37 PM

You want freaky? Go listen to some bigfoot sounds.

freddyfox 04-16-2001 12:38 PM

Nope, no pictures. But there have been plenty of footprints, footprints that were NOT made by humans or alligators.

FatherDante 04-16-2001 12:39 PM

Come on now, kids. Don't believe in it. Embrace science. If you want to do something with "mystique" at least do something "real," like... i dunno, hacking.

freddyfox 04-16-2001 12:41 PM

Science is good, but how do you explain all the footprints, the re-accounts, the crop circles? Mass Illusions? Pranksters? Not all can be explained by logic.

04-16-2001 12:43 PM

I belive crop circles come from something internal
part of the earth
something making art
it's beauty

Dante: I don't really see how you can belive in god, and not in the paranormal.

I don't know how much I believe in God.

04-16-2001 12:45 PM

I don't belive in a "god," but I belive that there has to be some inner force, something that makes things happen. Nothing makes sense though. Why is anything anything?

04-16-2001 12:47 PM

Har, the tall man one was a good read, especially at quater of 1a.m. I won't have any trouble sleeping though.
*moves on to the next story!*

04-16-2001 12:48 PM

Damn you!
I'm still feeling awful after that story.

freddyfox 04-16-2001 12:50 PM

Don't.
It could be easily faked. I'm not about to believe a tall tale from someone I barely know.

04-16-2001 12:52 PM

true... I just made the mistake of visualizing it...

04-16-2001 12:52 PM

The way he described the guy is rather strange though.

FatherDante 04-16-2001 12:52 PM

I can't argue for paranormal stuff over religion because they're both subjective. It's impossible. But... well, I believe in God because there's no reason to. Those "tuned into the spirit world" people always try and give proof, but have none respectable enough. It's just something that's... well, "cool."

If you look at the red pictures she's holding a gun.

Psyker 04-16-2001 12:58 PM

I stopped after page 5. Just too... egh!
I'll continue tomorrow :D

I have enough to dream about tonight...

04-16-2001 12:58 PM

I can't help but belive in the impossible somehow.
My father gave me a tarot reading.
All facts about me were completely true.
My hair color, etc.

freddyfox 04-16-2001 12:58 PM

I was just reading more of the Squid guy's posts... he listens to Art Bell. I mean, only freaks listen to Art Bell.

04-16-2001 12:58 PM

Squidder is a very good at giving detail, I gotta give him that.

freddyfox 04-16-2001 01:00 PM

And also, I'd like to say another thing.
About the weird hat guy, he says that he ran behind the garage which was connected to a large wall. Yet in a later post, he says there's 6 acres of forest behind it.

Uhhh....

[edit]Oh, silly me, that was in his new house![/edit]

04-16-2001 01:06 PM

To whoever said she's holding a gun in one of the pictures, she's not.

StoneColdRichie 04-16-2001 01:07 PM

Gods should be like they are in Black and White. :-)

Get to have a creature and have him do good or bad.

04-16-2001 01:08 PM

One of god's evil creatures being Lycia.

omni-m00gle 04-16-2001 01:27 PM

Well, I believe in all these things. I, for one, do live in a haunted house. Here are some examples of the happenings.
1. When I was about 4 and my sisters were 6 and 7, my mom and dad went out one night so my grandma babysitted. After she put me to sleep, she went back downstairs to the living room. The stairs to the upstairs are right next to the living room and on the second floor, the stairs to the attic are right on the right of the top of the staircase. So, after she put us to sleep, she started watching TV and relaxing. About a hour later she heard footsteps slowly coming down the stairs. After the noises were gone, she came up to check on us. We were all fast asleep.
2. When I was around 7, I had my sisters room, and my sisters had mine, cause mine was the biggest. Theres a closet door and the attic door in my room. So, my sisters were sleeping and one woke up to see a blue glow coming out of the attic door. She didnt go near it, she just stared untill it disapeared.
3. At Christmas time, I slept in my sisters room with them so when they woke up, they could wake me up so we could open presents. So, Me and one of my sisters were sleeping. One was still awake. The next morning she told us that she had looked out the window at around 2am to see an evil looking santa clause drooling, with an evil grin on it's face.
4. Numerous things being moved unexplainly.
5. Sounds of a little girl laughing.
6. Recently we have had a paranormal investagator check our house. The most haunted places are: My room, The Attic, and the MOST MOST MOST haunted place is the bathroom. Believe it or not.

Im so ****ing serious about all this too..That's why im a believer.

galen 04-16-2001 01:51 PM

I worked at a haunted Boy Scout camp for three summers. Lots of fun stuff goes on there

omni-m00gle 04-16-2001 02:02 PM

Cite examples, Galen :P

fugitive316 04-16-2001 02:02 PM

That whole "tapping on the window" story got to me. GOD THATS FREAKY.

grim_squeaker_x 04-16-2001 06:36 PM

Blah.

This was a fun read :D
It didn't scare me at all, but then again I haven't really been scared of anything since I was 8 (I'm 16 now), and I'm possibly the only guy here freaky enough to enjoy eating stuff while there's something like an operation going on on TV.
But anywho to get back to the subject, I don't really believe in any paranormal stuff and just classify it as "O.o These guys could make their own version of the X-Files".

Fai 04-16-2001 08:09 PM
