Bomys can play hacky sack aswell. And lets not forget the characteristics they already had like swimming faster, being able to go up waterfalls, and being able to hide in shell. And making pies falls under bread so it's basically the same thing.

Humans: Mine, farm, Bake Bread & Pies, jumprope, fish, and have bomy pets.

Bomys: Farm, pearl dive, hacky sack, swim faster, swim up waterfalls, farm, hide in shell, and catch birds.

Bomys have more stuff.....

You seem to have missed a lot of the basic human actions like moving in 8, count them, 8 directions, while bomies can only move in 4. I believe If I remember the scripting that bomies don't have as good an attack as humans, and of course humans can pick up objects and carry them. Humans also have more precise water movement than bomies (try getting in a small hole in a wall with a bomy while on water) and can grab things, push things, pull things, and some other stuff that bomies can't do.

The REAL list of what bomies get (not including basic movements, like you left out for humans) is this:
