unixmad has always had a problem taking customers constructive criticism. This is a small community, and honestly, I believe if you can't listen to this size of a community, it's never going to grow into a bigger one again. Players (paying or not paying) are the most important part of a games growth. If you don't listen to the majority of them why will they bother to keep playing when their opinions don't seem to matter to management?

Edit: I just wanted to add when these forums first started, when Graal2001 first came out, these forums were fun. The rules were a lot more relaxed, people never complained, the administrators and moderators were active players that knew how to deal with people that did act out of line.

We acted as a real community, and back then our opinions actually mattered here. The MMORPG rule has been around since the dawn of the forums, but that was about the only rule we had, other then don't be a ***** and you won't be banned. I know now isn't then, but the forums were in great shape.

Sam may enforce it, as I do, but unixmad is responsible for it being added to the rules, and members being given infractions for it.

It wasn't censored before I was banned for it yo.

Because I finally got permission to add it to the sensor since members refused to stop using it.

So it was you then, to justify Sam's ban. By the way, if you forum search the word it will bring up the instances in which the word was used prior to the filter. The word wasn't commonly used at all. In addition to this, the said word is used in television programs way before the watershed, so just how young do you think the users are here? Pre-schoolers?

Seriously though, my job is to enforce the rules that unixmad wants for his forums. If I disagree with something, I let him know, and why.
In the end, they are his forums, and he does what he wants, period.
Sometimes we agree, sometimes we dont, but I respect the fact that these are his forums.

Trying to get on his good side with hopes to make a difference is useless, look what happened to Spark910 the moment he disagreed with the way unixmad was treating people who posted or even associated themselves with the UGCC.

I see this discussion is going the way of flaming war. Plain and simple it was said that the community doesn't vote for the moderators. I don't think that will change anytime in the future either.
