So whats wrong with putting 5 minutes aside to fix such a small thing again?

To clear up any confusion you may have, why would an item that does not kill need a kill value?

Please tell me, is there something wrong with the Jetpack? No?
The jetpack itself is not trash, so theres no reason arguing over it.
This has nothing to do with the thread but ok.

Ok have fun, because large scale changes will never occur on Zone.

We're not discussing what and will not happen. It's what we feel would be the best method of choice if large scale changes did take place.

Guess you're just going to have to suck it up. ^^
If I was the one in charge of fixing this, I would keep it there forever just to piss you guys off, haha. Just thought I'd throw that out there. :p

Alright, I was just checking to see if you're trying to enlighten other forum posters with your long posts or if you really thought I didn't know all this.

That's great but I'm actually speaking from a practical standpoint. RosesLove stated that she'd rather have the large-scale issues fixed first, while you and I both know that will never happen.

And we aren't. We all know these large scale changes have a minimal chance of taking place, but it's good to throw in your ideas on how things should be done just to see how other people's differ. Therefore continuing this dicussion is unnecessary and pointless.

When there are a bunch of drastic problems that need to be taken into account, I think taking the kills sign off the jetpack window can be pushed aside for a bit.

So you admit that neither of you are speaking from a practical standpoint. We are all fully aware that large-scale actions will most likely ever take place, yes? In that case, answer my question:

Okay, I got that. I still don't see what you're getting at though. Just saying "and" doesn't mean I'm agreeing.

LOL, It doesn't? The title clearly says "jetpack" so. :D
Maybe you're in the wrong thread, it would explain a lot.

But no, I was pointing out that it shouldn't matter if it says kills or not, as long as the item is still functional.

As I said before, the Zone staff aren't that organised and will just fix what the players are giving stick to. If the staff were like a well oiled machine then I'd have no problem in one of them popping online, doing what they need to do for a few minutes and then logging off again or continuing work on something more significant.

Ugh, as I said before, the hideous recoloured GW map, the 9 year old staff members and the extremely unbalanced weapons. Wouldn't you rather have one of those fixed first before a little graphical issue being addressed?

To me it looked like you were trying to be witty and expand on what I was saying with a hint of sarcasm. What you ended up doing was agreeing with me and contradicting yourself directly afterwards.

That's all, jeez.

The topic is about the kill stat which appears when you equip a jetpack, it has nothing to do with how the jetpack works and so on.

We've already established that large-scale actions are pretty much not going to happen, and I'm suggesting they go ahead and fix this small issue now. It should take no longer than 5 minutes.

I'm not really being witty, I was simply trying to make sure that your long posts about how Zone works and how things won't get done were meant to enlighten these other posters, because I'm already fully aware of these issues and it would be silly to think so otherwise. <3

For the record such a simple fix will probably be done by Stefan himself so don't worry about their staff team.

Well of course it will. We've made a huge debate about it on the forum which is like an unnoticable ugly boil on the forum menu. Now that such a fuss has been made about it, Stefan might listen and actually fix it. This therefore proves my point that the staff will only fix certain issues which get a lot of stick from the players. If the issues was brought up past a staff member through a quick PM by a player it would probably be ignored or forgotten about.

Well we just established that I'm talking from a idealogical standpoint. For the record, of course the problem will be fixed since we've made a huge debate about it on the forum which is hardly unnoticable.

Didn't you read the part where I said, "But no, I was pointing out that it shouldn't matter if it says kills or not, as long as the item is still functional."

You're missing the point of everything I said, and looking at the small details. Habit for you? :/

Again, missing the point. It was that I WOULD, ME, not the current Zone team, ME. Go for the big problems before worrying about.. this.
But I hope they would also see how pointless this is as well. :)

Yes that's great but you're basically turning a blind eye to the problem.

Yeah, and once again that's great because in an ideal world I would also want all the large-scale actions to happen but we all know it's not so we might as well make realistic suggestions in this thread. Which is what I have been doing unlike you two.

The hideously recolored map is still a map. It is functional. Yes, it would be nice to have unique designs and aesthetically pleasing levels and graphics. However the dropship isn't as important as the actual map.

If the entire game is one large lump of faults, wouldn't the best solution be to step back and analyze the situation? Then when you know the best standpoint to start from you can. Any progress is progress regardless of whether it is large or small.
The point is problems should be fixed.

However, you believe it should be done the other way around and I can't argue with that since it is purely your opinion.

I hate to say it, but they can focus on both. They could take their sweet time, which is entirely possible, and focus on both issues on and off so as to provide a fresh breath of air.

Isn't it best to be organized from the stand point of pleasing the customers?
If a majority of the customers want something done/fixed, it would be a good idea to please them.

Not to be rude, but you can do more than one thing at a time. You don't have to focus on one particular issue. It might help to have a controlled central focus, but if you can more quickly complete the tasks at hand while splitting your attention, why not?

Ok have fun, because large scale changes will never occur on Zone.

Changes can happen in all scales and all sizes. The only thing that stops change is pessimism, that which you and huwa have exhibited.

Fixing what the customers want fixed is usually a good strategy, if you didn't fix it so it couldn't happen. Fixing anything, if it is even broken to begin with, is a better course of action that sitting here saying if you think that large scale or small scale issues should be fixed first.

I would rather see it all fixed.

Staff don't only fix certain issues which get a lot of stick from the players (Customers) they fix problems that they are aware of and feel need fixing.

Time is time.

Crono and Huwa:
You are arguing about what came first, the chicken or the egg. Sure one of them had to come first, but they are both still here so what point is there in arguing about it? As long as the changes happen, which hopefully they will, there isn't any point arguing about what should be fixed first.

Uh dude, Crono and I just finished our discussion and have already established that our two opinions differ drastically, mainly due to the fact we were coming from different standpoints.
