Nice that you think that :)

Sarcasm? Hard to see on the internet D:

No, it's not. It's priced what people will pay. Notice there is no lack of people buying iPhones. And, the new iPhones will drop in price most likely.
Think about the iPod and batteries.

I doubt it, but don't buy it. It's your own damn choice, but just know that you can't run Graal on whatever "a lot more" is.
I was mainly talking about phones and mp3 players.

The iPhone is a "handheld".
Ugh. I disagree, even if it's official or whatever.

I didn't know Apple was having any problems selling iPods?

The Zune can't play Graal, neither can other MP3 players/phones.

It's held in your hand, no?

Dictionary.com defines "handheld" as:

1. held in the hand or hands: a hand-held torch.
2. small enough to be used or operated while being held in the hand or hands: a hand-held hair drier.
–noun
3. something small enough to be used or operated while held in the hand or hands: She traded in her bulky old movie camera for a hand-held.

iPod batteries purchased directly from Apple are friggin expensive.

I also didn't say that, I was talking about the basic fact that things like the iPod are overpriced.

I imagine you've heard the news about exploding batteries, or batteries which spontaneously combust? There's a reason they're more expensive than the other batteries - they're made with more expensive, safer materials. You can buy those others ones because it's a "buyer beware" situation.

I honestly have never needed to replace the battery on my iPod after many years of use; but I agree, Apple batteries tend to be high-quality, though I don't know the price.

What they're saying is true - about the higher prices. It's for a very practical reason; Apple sells merchandise with clout, if they sold them for bargain prices every dog and their flea would have the newest Apple toy... and how special would it be then?

They need to maintain a specific market share to keep their "clout" level and to do so they adjust their prices.

Okay, stop with the Apple bashing guys.

It's not Apple bashing, it's unbiased truth presented neutrally. Although I personally favour their marketing plan - I enjoy that little bit of clout, even if only novelty.
