or does it? either way, half of the skills actually do nothing rofl

Well, you can steal from all the monsters in the HH and T-rexes in the dungeon... this can be a little annoying to anyone else who is killing and clearing the place while you're stealing from monsters.

Sounds like something you'd like to do.

RealJuggernaut 01-16-2008 03:12 AM

nah id rather just hook of bile+12 whatever youre fighting

xAzerothx 01-16-2008 07:25 AM

Why would you remove a kingdom that people are in? If I was in Samurai or something I wouldn't want you deleting it just because its not "popular."

My answer to that is yes.

Maybe its time we eliminate 2 of the kingdoms.

This will not only have 3 left but will make them more active. As is the two kingdoms most active are CP and Forest but having a 3rd one around would make things intersting.

Hmm so maybe we should just take over smaller countries like australlia because they have alot of unused land.. Or maybe something like New Zealand because they just don't do much in world events??

Who is to say that less kingdoms will be better, we don't know. All that your going to do is create problems by removing the 2 you don't want around because they are inactive.

GK is having problems because of the lack of updates and debugging thats actually done to the server. Sure new things are nice, but only last so long with the current bugs. It's like installing a new sink in your bathroom when the shower and plumbing arent even working yet. There is no point to it other then it looks nice for a few moments.

Go ahead and shoot down my point, I don't actually care anymore really, nobody wants to really listen to what really needs to be done.

Bjorn will probably say something about him adding in something new, but like I've said before, that only last so long. Also just glancing at this forum topic.. its all out of the original topic anyways.

Stephen 01-17-2008 04:04 AM

The problem with GK right now is that pitifully-stupid ideas like deleting two kingdoms is even being considered, and worst yet that a developer is suggesting it.

CABAL49 01-17-2008 04:36 AM

I think what Raven wants here is to increase the amount of active members per kingdom. Getting rid of two of them would accomplish this somewhat. But the only way to settle which two get deleted would be an all out war.

an all out war with 2 people on either side?

dNeonb 01-17-2008 05:53 PM

Every of the kingdoms has a nice background and themed island/stlye. It'd be a shame to remove a single one.

Ravenblade1979 01-17-2008 06:35 PM

well this is going nowhere.

Pimmeh 01-17-2008 07:39 PM

For what I am worth:
Kingdoms needs playability, not removal.
I, for one, have no idea on what to do. The Haunted houses are too high for me, T-Rexes are out of the question. And if I win from a wolf, it is just lucky, for half the time I attack them I miss...

I dunno what to do, so currently im just exploring!

ViperZakuto 01-17-2008 07:41 PM

do some lvl 1 maps, =O you can find them in the west and east hh's. Skeletons drop them, and also dievels

When I was a low level, Me an Felix partied and trained on shell bombies until we were level 4. Then I acquired a rather good Bile Bow. It worked wonders in the east Haunted House, Felix was using prayers and spells. prayers were good because he could heal his grace fast by hitting the hotkey while running around so he didn't get hit. Then when we got level 8 and started on t-rexs. Doing the same thing. Keeping your distance and firing with a bow or using magic/prayers.
The create arrow spell comes in handy, and possible a Gov bow for the t-rexs.
Eventualy it's level 3 maps and lords. That got us to level 25-30 in no time.

I vote zormite and Dustari cuz I don't understand their purpose, samurai is like ninjas and swordsmen type stuff, forest is elvish and tree-hugger type stuff, CP is pirates (obviously) and dustari and zormite are...well... midevil? they seem the same

kia345 01-18-2008 04:01 AM

Zormite is a fish race that hates the land-walkers.

RPwise, the most diverse group of them all.

Proof that Zormites need to make a lot more use of fish-heads.

Been there, done that, got bored...Needs more variety on the heads, and unfortunately, I have yet to see anyone decent enough at making fish heads.

Just having two actually usable heads is kind of...limiting? x_x

However it does bring up the idea of a small contest later on once I get things straightened out. ( Health wise IRL, and Kingdom activity-wise )

This also brings up a small point -- Lack of blue/green hands for bodies for the Zormites. :p

Its...getting slightly started again.

Just hasn't taken off quiet yet, still need to get activity rolling before I can roll over to RP however.

I have no doubt you can whip them into shape and get RP going again ;)
RP is fun! It should be a reason for activity..

Ravenblade1979 01-18-2008 04:58 PM

like said on multiple other forums. Most people see this as a pking forum so RP died out exceptionally fast. No matter what kingdom it is. Yes CP and Forest may still have rpers but exactly how many is pretty low. Mostly they just want to pk.

RPing and PKing can fuse amazingly.. people just have to know how.

There's way more than 2 fish-heads. Use those fish-heads too. They're use-able.
You know they were meant for Zormite anyways. Why else would there be fish-heads on Graal Kingdoms?

I'd use one if I was a Zormite :\

Those others I think was designed for Halloween, if I remember correctly.

Because they look retarded. They're actual fish. I prefer the attractive anthropomorphic fish head that actually fits the body.

The ones that are "actual fish"?
No, they weren't designed for Halloween.
They were designed for Zormite.

I was under the impression the fishman heads were for Zormite, and the fishfish were for being random.

Nope. They were made for Zormite. Maybe the fishman heads came after the fishfish heads came out.

Either way, it's completely acceptable to use EITHER fishman or fishfish heads, but I find it very disrespectful for the majority of the kingdom to be using any non-fish heads. Then again, this has been going on for years, and I was never a Zormite, so I suppose there's not much for me to say.

But the whole point this got started on was Zormite being another Dustari... which is true if the Zormite kingdom is not of the Zormite race. A detail that makes Zormite possibly the most unique kingdom.

Tracker180 01-19-2008 05:09 AM

...so there's a kingdom about merpeople?...wow...what about dustari?

Samurai and Forest don't look unique. I think they're turning into another Dustari.

I kinda disagree to that.. well.. yeah, maybe Samurai is. But forest is still embrassing it's RP style.. all, or just about all members use an elven or drow head.. and some members still RP a lot.

grawlgamer 01-19-2008 04:16 PM

Dustari is basically the 'default' (this is coming straight from personal experience I don't really know) Like an imperial on oblivion... or a human on most other games. They are the in the middle group. If any kingdoms went, Dustari should stay, because well.... why have ninjas, treehuggers, and pirates, yet no normal people?:)

CABAL49 01-19-2008 04:38 PM

This is my personal preference, but the blue Zormite head is the only one that actually looks fishey, I suppose it's the fin.

kia345 01-19-2008 05:34 PM

That one and the green one are the only ones I considered "Zormite".

The other ones were just there for the sake of humor.

No, that's completely wrong.
They were put up to be used as Zormite heads.

Maybe, here's an idea that could have solved the whole conflict years ago when Zormites were trying to figure out what to look like on GK:
Use the old classic Zormite head, modified to fit on GK, but still looking as close as possible to the original.
That would end all this debate about "the heads are too ugly".

But that will never happen.

I thought that was the origin of the fishman head; but according to you, it serves some higher purpose.

RealJuggernaut 01-21-2008 07:31 PM

yea good way to get people to join zormite, force them to wear retarded heads if they want in.
ive been an orc for as long as i remember, and im gonna stay as one forever ;]
samurai orcs imo

Ravenblade1979 01-21-2008 07:38 PM

No one is forcing them to wear that blasted head. People choose to wear it. I have no idea why as I think it looks stupid.

BTW hi from me in Manitoba.

I'm a little confused, but I'll explain it as best as I can.

BOTH the "fishman" AND the "fishfish" heads were created to be used for Zormite. Actually, I'm just assuming the "fishman" head was created for Zormite, and I think you'll agree. But I'm certain the "fishfish" head was created for Zormite as well. And I'm not 100% sure which came first, but I'm inclined to say "fishfish" heads came first.

That's what the whole debate is about. IIRC, Zormites went a long time with them HAVING to wear their fishheads (probably through all of G2k1's time). Also, they were xenophobic, so you could not RP as a zormite. This has been a problem for years, and I've searched for an answer years ago as to why Zormites are no longer fish-people, and I found no story what-so-ever to it, except the non-RP reason of GK lacking good heads.

Ravenblade1979 01-21-2008 11:26 PM

actually my character is a 401 year old vampire who joined zormite i think last year...so he's no fish person. I guess we trying to diversify or something
